Not an easy person to like, but I don’t think he’s particularly whinging on his own behalf, more the general principle.

To be fair he’s done it twice - once in League 2, once in the Scottish Premiership. In League 1 that’s the sort of return we should be looking at if he has an injury free season.

Nine I think. Was out injured for eight, didn’t play the opening game, debut was as sub in the first home game v Donny. Not sure if he missed the other odd one throughout the season.

Cheers. I’ve not kept any records, but I’m pretty sure they haven’t. It would need a Nigel Pearson 90-91 type scoring defender to have any chance. The first season I did it I treated the defence as an entity, but found that even in a poor season they’d win or be there about, which was why I changed it to the 0.2 each rule. They’d have got 16 this season, only missing out by a single point to Gregory’s excellent effort.

Bannan’s yellow v Sunderland, for what to my blue and white tinted eyes looked a great tackle, secured him the Alan Harper Award for the second season running. I think the problem with the Hull game was that both club’s were initially allocated the same with an expectation that both would need that amount. It soon became clear that Hull would not sell all theirs but they’d not sold block by block, so there was no practical way to give us their unsolds. This time it’ll be different, whether it is us or Sunderland, Wycombe will only need/be allocated about 20k I think.
