  1. You probably would struggle to accommodate Foden and Palmer in the same starting 11. More about how you balance the type of player you have, not their talent of course.
  2. Have you gone for outline planning permission on that M1 / M18 site yet. Did you get hold of Winkleman at MK to see if you could get the plans for their stadium design
  3. A Palmer scoring against them as well
  4. I can see Bannan getting another contract simply because Chansiri seems to like him Vaulks deserves another contract for 2 years I didn't realise that Dawson was 29
  5. Late VAR intervention by the Bishop of Liverpool so EPL have changed the result to a Liverpool win
  6. I think it was because I said she should get an award for services to 1980's teenager lads But perhaps suggesting a pearl necklace was not my best idea
  7. Much more interesting, I went to a concert at a smallish venue last night and in the bar after, spotted a woman who was quite pivotal in my erm teenage development and I suspect many others Sadly fully attired compared to her days on Page 3 of The Sun - but its fair to say Linda Lusardi is still rather attractive. I was banned from talking to her by Mrs MK
  8. My lad went to school in Wing so still has a few mates that live there. Bet you have noticed the change in Aylesbury - huge housing estate next to where you are
  9. Whereabouts I live between MK and Aylesbury - probably not far from where you are stopping ! But interesting your views on the stadium, it is tired but we are at the stage that a lick of paint will just keep it awake a bit. I get a lot of stick, but Stadium MK is exactly the type of stadium we need to develop. Completely from scratch, 32k capacity
  10. I think my sowing the seeds for when the TV deals come round again. But the EPL one still has another season to go before the number of games increases. Be interesting how the EFL deal works through over the next 2 seasons. With blanket coverage of midweek games, more weekend games moved kick off times, will it impact on season ticket sales, away followings etc. But that is why the 3pm kick off blackout may continue, as it will be those non TV accessible games (via legitimate means of course) where clubs will seek to maximise revenues.
  11. What did you make of Sheffield and Ecclesfield, if you found time to see
  12. He is a journalist, expect nothing less. We simply have to accept that Rohl will be eyed up by other Championship clubs or more likely some in Germany. Doesn't matter if they get on with the owner or not, they might fuck off. Interesting that Swansea are taking legal action against Martin. On the basis Southampton were still in the EPL when the initial contact was made and his contract stipulated higher compensation
  13. We do have a week to prepare, not sure knowing the results by the time we play is a good thing. But it's not a relegation decider and the focus of Rohl is to build the belief. That even if we only get out the relegation zone for 8 minutes, it's the last 8 minutes of the season. That we take our fate to matchday 46. I mean I predicted the QPR game, that we would basically be like Rotherham, 16 points behind with 15 to aim for. Because I saw nothing in this squad that Rohl could turnaround beyond a small bounce. We have overachieved that. But it also needed play off form over the games left to guarantee survival. We have achieved upper mid table form instead, which is getting us close but maybe just not enough
  14. I was trying the reverse psychology with that, sadly it went into reverse reverse mode. Though the penalty Udders conceded, I mean we would be calling the conspiracy theory police. Brum probably had the advantage of playing Coventry, one eye on the Cup as opposed to the play offs. I guess you get disheartened on reeling quite a few in to see em wriggle away, but we have been in relegation battles at this stage where we only had one target to aim for. So until its mathematically impossible you keep going, because in football anything can happen and invariably does
  15. But less than they were Plymouth play Stoke away If we beat Blackburn we are 2 points behind them
  16. if we beat them we are only 2 points behind so after the scores today no flip flops. I think I prefer that there is some jeopardy for them
  17. Whilst we can't get relegated until game 45, then any survival would also be game 46. There is one permutation, if both Brum and Udders lose next week and draw in their fixture, then if we win our next 2 games we would be safe. Chances of that erm put a £1 on and have a holiday.
  18. We seemed to collectively run out of steam, the energy expended 2nd half v Norwich taking its toll. I would have liked the subs a bit sooner once that came obvious. Thing is you can rattle Norwich with up and at em style, but Stoke are well tuned to dealing with it. We just needed a bit more calmer possession. In the end they had the better chances to win it in that last 20 whilst we just huffed a bit. If midweek went our way then the weekend has not with unexpected results. We will know a bit more by the next time we play - but it's going to game 45 at least given the fixtures
  19. Key game next week Stoke v Plymouth Week after Brum v Huddersfield So gonna be points gained / lost there.
  20. Ugbo had to score early on really, disallowed goal not sure there was a lot going on but you would never get a penalty
