Yes ideally contract lengths would be staggered but of course shorter term practicalities/thinking can stymie this balanced approach. In the now some of those approaching the end of their contracts might have been pencilled in as 'keepers'. The eraser might now be getting some use if attitudes aren't smartened up sharpish .

What would really worry me would be if the majority of those players coming up to the end of their contracts had had them extended.

Looking at it another way Chansiri might recognise the impact he's made - not least on the vast majority of fans - and seek to keep him in place for a rebuild in League 1 as he did with Moore. Loads of contracts up in the summer(most of which wont be renewed) affording Danny the opportunity of building a team in his own way Anyway we may well stay up but if not it's imperative that DC acts swiftly to bring a new man/team in utilising compensation monies as Röhl, allegedly, is contracted beyond this season. Discussions need to be had expediently.

Madness. I said early in his tenure that I'd accept relegation if he stayed and used League 1 and the contract expirations for a properly reset. Clearly he's still learning his trade but he's a real talent IMO.

Looked out of sorts on Friday but likely that Musaba sticks to what Danny asks of him in terms of shape/tactics. Sort of hinted at it in Friday's post match interview plus he is capable of causing defenders real problems on occasions.

I think we'll be in pole position to sign Poveda in the summer assuming Rhöl stays. Ugbo possibly a harder one. Seems likely that Troyes want to offload him but they'll have to take a loss wherever he goes.
