So we've sold out at Plymouth, albeit 500 fewer than we took last season and after MK, Bolton and Posh our away average stands at just under 5k, ridiculous for 3rd tier football.

At Hillsborough the away numbers certainly dropped off after Pompeys impressive turnout on day 1, Charlton not helped by rail strikes mustered just over 700 and Forest Green managed 324.

Anyway here are some tables I've got off another forum.

Likewise. I’ve always loved this sort of info. Hopefully we’ll boost both home fans and away fans numbers today.

Burton can't be sustainable with their crowd figures. Scarborough Athletic are getting nearly the same number of home fans in Conference North

Around 1k drop off thanks to Jimmy Floyd's managerial stint.

We congratulate ourselves a lot but there were more Derby fans than Wednesday fans watching their respective team.

And Sheffield must be twice the size of Derby before the 'two team city' argument comes out.

Derby have cheaper tickets and Derby isn't just about the city size they have a far bigger pool to get fans from than we do with the amount of clubs around us.

Also fuck em, cheating song and bounce robbing bastards.

19,500 season tickets and reduced kids prices for the Wycombe game.

Derby are also offering pro-rata reduced season ticket knocking off the price of the first five home games already gone. The offer is on til the end of September.

Not a bad idea. Wonder if there'd be a worthwhile take up if we did the same?

Interesting the crowd was higher today than the same fixture last season and was higher than the game played at the same stage of the previous campaign.

Wycombe 21/22 20,761 (866 away)

Wycombe 22/23 22,123 (350 est away)

And it was Oxford 21/22 22,060 (1,573 away)

Our last two away games have seen two identical away followings given by the home club

1,481 at both Plymouth and Cambridge, what I will say is the Plymouth figure appears to be tickets sold more than attendees.

Stats I saw in November had Burnley as the highest in the Championship with around 2500.  So at the moment, we’ve almost certainly got the highest away average outside the Prem, not just in League One.  Small capacities will bring it down a bit.

3 teams with no evening away games? Is that fact or just that you're missing the data @Reesh

Love this stuff though

Not my data pal. I'll check with him

886 Oxford at ours last week

Derby away average broke 2.5k after yesterday at Bolton, could overtake us at the top at this rate.

Vale sold out tomorrow and will be their biggest league following in 20 years.

Due to Derby fans getting uppity and claiming their away support is better than ours I decided to research it.

Our numbers have increased in the last 5 years and are pretty impressive given the last 20 years.

It would be great if we could nudge that average for this season over 3k, but I think I might be right in saying we don’t have the allocations still to do that?

Maybe the Dingles game could push it upward but beyond that? What ya reckon @Reesh?

If you add 4,9,9,3 you get 25.

Add the 2 and the 5 together and you get the number of fingers on each hand the average habitant of Barnsley has.

Old Rovrumowl Skamp giving Bants out.

Our average will end up around 2,450

Any idea how our attendance yesterday compared to the rest of the EFL? I can’t find anywhere showing attendances but I’d imagine there weren’t many higher outside the Prem.

Was the highest in the EFL and beat 3 PL fixtures over the weekend.
