Why the need for the announcement though?

I've never come out to announce I'm straight, simply cos it's irrelevant and matters not a jot in the grand scheme of things.

If the young lad is gay, then fine. So what? I don't need to know. And it's nobody else's business.

So long as the manager has the last say and has the opportunity to propose players he think are good for the club I don’t see the issue. However if we go back to only fish in one pool then DC is probably going to have his pants pulled down again.

On the other hand: Byers, Johnson, Dean, Storey, Gregory, with players like Mendez-Laing, Berahino and Adeniran doing ok.

I think one of the biggest signs of how many people see the recruitment is how many have said we should have gone straight up with the players we have. 

Playing devils advocate here, but if the Pacman is coming back... And DC is going to spend money. 

As long as it doesn't put us back in the brown stuff, is it overall a bad thing? 

I'm not suggesting we'll get Hooper/Forestieri type players, but surely it might mean we'll be more attractive to bigger players? Just a suggestion.

Need to lower the age of the squad definitely.....not bring in players on their last payday with no resale value....

Also, Paxiao seemed to deal with and specialise in old but admittedly decent players who all appeared to be linked to those shady Doyen vampires....?   We don't want to be headed there again...
