More young uns to be involved?

I noticed after the game at the weekend, Röhl has said that he's going to use this international break as not only a 'mini pre season' for the squad but also an opportunity to bring in some of the young uns into the fold to see what they're about.

After Cadamarteri made his League debut at the weekend and made a pretty good fist of it, I wonder if we'll see any more of them coming into the match day squad, like Phuti, Fusire etc who have been on the periphery this season... I'd like it if we did see a few of them... Especially if they have the hunger that Cadamarteri showed when he came on.

Got to be careful, could set them back bringing them in to a team that is losing week in week out

Wednesday fans "bring in the young uns can't be any worse"

"Why don't we use our academy like other clubs"

"Why don't our younger lot stay at the club"

Also Wednesday fans

Yep lets play fucking Hendrick instead - its served us so well to have past it players after a final pay check

Wow, different opinion shocker  🙄

Coming to something though isn't it when some fans think the kids are a better option than the shit the current 'custodian' has saddled us with

Darren Moore left us with most of the "shit" but you keep blaming DC for giving Dawson and Bannan extensions!

Think Saturday should be the last we see of Hendrick unless have major injuries.

Cadamarteri showed more attacking intent in 45 minutes than any of our established Strikers have all season.

In light of the political news today - I reckon we should bring back Carlton Palmer

We couldn't afford him.  I heard on the grapevine that the Saudis are hoping to persuade the next OPEC meeting to cut oil production and drive prices up again so they can afford to make a bid to bring him out of retirement.  It just says to me how serious they are about their league dominating world football.

It starts at the top

The only new signings Chansiri is guilty of was Munoz and his backroom team. The 'keeping Moore' debate is still open judging by his results at Huddersfield with arguably a better squad.

Anyone who thinks the playing squad is Chansiri's fault needs to give their head a shake. Or are you seriously suggesting he's forced all these players on Moore and Munoz.

Do you think someone like Rohl would have come if he wasn't going to get autonomy in January? It's more likely the other way round where Chansiri is hoping Rohl's connections can bring in the right players.

Said the exact same thing to my old man this morning, plus the added garbage Munoz bought in.

We all agreed it would take a miracle with that squad to stay up, especially when we have donkeys like Dawson & Bambo Diaby in the team.

@Tylluan He’s laid out exactly how things work time and time again, so let’s not pretend either way.

The point I’m making is that he has responsibility for everything which includes continuing use of advisors who clearly aren’t fit for purpose. He puts structures in place, clearly those aren’t conducive to progress. He’s responsible for appointing a head of recruitment, still nothing. He’s the reason people keep leaving.

He’s ruining us, he had a crack, it didn’t come off and now he can’t sustain it, he’s basically clinging on in hope we go up so he can recover some funds.

DC has said it's down to the managers decision many times. What's your interpretation?

The head of recruitment needs to be Röhl now.

Where's the proof of that? Or is it only an opinion? If you're on about Moore then no one apart from those two, their respective legal teams and the LMA know what went on and the LMA decision not to go full on at the club possibly means Chansiri played it straight.

Dooley left to be a CEO, a step up.

Downes left to be a Sporting Director, a step up.

Dowling was only ever a short term appointment to get through the transfer window after Downes left.

Name me anyone who's walked away from the club and not gone straight into a better or equal role. Because what you're implying is we've had a small exodus of people jumping ship and it's all down to Chansiri.

No he’s not, he said they play a role but so do many others and for me that’s part of the problem.

If it’s all on managers then why would we need a head of recruitment?

Ultimately though he has the final say as he’s the one signing off.

If you’re happy with that then fine but I see the problems associated with such a model, the evidence is also there if looking back at his tenure

A model adopted at many clubs but cos it is DC you have a bee in your bonnet about it.

Why would we need a specialist to get any deal agreed and over the line whilst leaving the first team coach to do errr, coach the first team?
