Was always one of the faces I remembered either down Hillsborough when I first started drinking as a whipper snapper or at away games but never actually knew him personally. A couple of lads I know are massive mates with him and at least one was there on the fateful Saturday night. Seemed an absolute top bloke with friends all over the Country and the World. While I understand that people can have remorse etc, but in this case, the Mr Wheeler can’t have the chance to get half his life back. Yes, there are times when horrible accidents happen, after a scuffle.. while it doesn’t make it ‘better’, but this bloke seemingly was consistently violent, and went back for more.
