Skamp Posted June 26, 2023 Share Posted June 26, 2023 (edited) ex Scotland Manager has died at the age of 82 He was in charge of Scotland when they won 1-0 win at Wembley in the Euro qualifiers in 1999 but England led 2-0 from the first leg to go through at Scotland's expense. RIP How Scotland didn't go through that night is still beyond me. They missed a few sitters (Ferguson in particular with his free header), Seaman made a point blank save from Dailly, Adams making a fabulous last ditch tackle to stop Dodds from making it 2, that game was easily the worst ever performance I have seen from an England national team (until we met Iceland under Roy Hodgson).
