I actually think in a one off game it doesn’t matter. A two legged semi, I’d say Bolton, but at Wembley in what is effectively a cup game, it doesn’t make much difference.

I think last night really helps us, because we know we can go to that level. What was also pleasing is that we looked like we didn’t get any injuries, and we got 120 mins out of a few players who’ve missed a bit of game time.

Logic would say avoid Barnsley as they have been a nemesis

Bolton we did not beat in the regular season saying that, plus they have very recent Wembley success

Neither will be an easy game

We won at Bolton, didn't we?

They were superb at Wembley in daft trophy. Plymouth simply couldn't get the ball off them and 4-0 could easily have been 6 or 8.

Yep you are right about the Bolton game, I think I was misremembering the season before

No K Lee in the squad for them tonight

Don’t think it matters in terms of the playoff final.  It’s how we turn up and play that is critical.  Just want the six fingered “Tarn” lot to get beat for the obvious reasons, like sanity and taste.

How many times are they going to mention the fact that they’ve beaten us twice?  👏

Big pitch Wembley.  Hopefully it’s nice and hot on the Bank Holiday weekend.  Go on then try and press us there.

And another one 🙄.  Just waiting for…

League One Play Off Final

Barnsley (who won twice in the league) v Sheffield Wednesday”

The previous game that worries me more was the early season one at Hillsborough not the one at Oakwell.

That first one we hardly created a chance thinking back.

It was hard to judge last night as Bolton barely laid a glove on them, not sure Barnsley played to the level they can.

It suits us if they get over-confident

Kieren Lee ticks them over nicely in the midfield, how he weren't playing tonight is criminal.

Injured. Took a knock towards the end of the first game and didn't recover in time.

Tee you have to do the match thread after Thursdays.

Any Owls in London Sunday night? Can’t see us taking over Trafalgar Square like Sunderland did mind.

I know it's a local derby for you lot north of Park Square, but If we play like we did Thursday and who cares who we play,  Barnsley or Barcelona.

Ironically being a North Sheffield lad there was probably more Dingles fans in my school than the Pig fans. I think they hid them away in the retard class.

All pretty good natured rivalry back then really.

I land in the London at 1am on Monday morning, so just miss out.

Let's hope that's exactly what they're mentioning afterwards.

It was 3rd September.  Just checked the highest temperature that day in Sheffield was 22C.
