Reesh Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 Be nice to make it 3 wins on the spin and keep the pressure on the top two. Referee is Andy Haines, we've never won a game he's reffed us in 5 attempts. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 Hopefully we go at them, which only tends to happen if the opposition go at us! But, here's to it being a good one anyway. Quote

HoylandOwl Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 That hopefully will mean it's half decent on Monday! Quote

HoylandOwl Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 New year new optimism??? let’s see your predictions for tomorrow’s game. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Cambridge United’s preview is here… and how many tickets they’ve sold is within the piece too. Quote
M42Owl Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 It’s not too long ago that Cambridge were on the fringe of the play off places. They didn’t do too badly at Derby the other day. 1-0 to Wednesday. Nervy last 30 minutes Or, They've won 3, drawn 2, in the last 16. They’ve got a few injuries. We were a little bit improved last time out, and that’ll continue. 4-0 to Wednesday. Smith on the scoresheet again, and a few minutes for Famewo and Adeniran. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 I like the latter, more. However, I'll take the former too, as it means we win. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Cambridge United official match preview from their OS Quote

HoylandOwl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Nice to see Rio Shipston on the bench today. Here’s to Windass and Wilks pulling their fingers out. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 The game today is on iFollow for UK viewers if anyone is interested… Quote
Andyben Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 You'd hope he'd put Pato on right and play wilks off Smith with Windass behind Quote
mkowlthesexynewversion Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Good news Tee I am sat on my sofa not on the Kop Quote
Andyben Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Good luck @Reeshon mascot duties today, Nice away kit pal 1 Quote
Kiwi Owl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 That was a fabulous ball from Byers there for Windass' goal Quote
Reesh Posted January 2, 2023 Author Posted January 2, 2023 Bolton have a penalty and Dingles down to ten men at Oakwell, Derby winning. Quote
Kiwi Owl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Paterson taking a leaf out of Marvin Johnsons book there, very soft Comfortably converted by Smith, 2-0 Quote
owl4ever1867 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Unlucky Cambridge just then - hitting the bar.... Then minutes later off the line. Quote
Kiwi Owl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Off the woodwork and off the line in a few minutes Quote
Kiwi Owl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 This has a feel of a training match. Perhaps one of their chances went in, it may be different Ideally, this is a perfect opportunity to get 4 or 5 here and really help the goal difference. Quote
mkowlthesexynewversion Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 We just need to keep playing on the front foot, give em zero way into the game, score a couple more Quote
Kiwi Owl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Game over Lovely finish from Palmer there Quote
Chelters Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 I know it doesn’t matter but we have another ref who is quite happy to give the opposition soft free kicks when they fall over to relieve the pressure. They have had the ball less than half the time we have but have been given more than twice as many free kicks. Quote
Kiwi Owl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Make that 4-0 A job done celebration there from Windass 1 Quote
Chelters Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Again it doesn’t matter but that is the most blatant penalty you could wish to see. And it’s the same guy who got booked in the first half. Quote

dilts Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Why do Windass's celebrations look so muted? Quote
Andyben Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Hos dad said "we don't celebrate goals in division 3 " Quote
owl4ever1867 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Hunt has got to hit the target there.... Ipswich 1-1 Quote
Kiwi Owl Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Much, much better today. Looked like we would score everytime we went forward. No doubt it'll be changed once Bannan comes back but we did not miss him at all Quote
star Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Lincoln have been down to ten men for the second half Quote
