  1. Defence Wednesday £9m hardie Plymouth £2 deing Exeter £1m Eisa MK £2m vokes Wycombe £2.25 collins Bri Rov £1.25 gregory Wednesday £2.5 Thanks for organising Reesh 👍
  2. I managed to login on the laptop and whilst it was still playing up, I’ve managed to book them. Looks like there were plenty left.
  3. I am trying to get them. It showed 4 available but won’t let me choose. I’m doing it on my phone. Are you?
  4. We were really good for the first ten minutes. Wigan couldn’t get the ball.
  5. Looking forward to this. One of few away games I’ll get the chance to get tickets for.
  6. I’ve got the programme for one of them. The one with Pele kissing the World Cup on the front. The same programme that’s on the wall in Riverside.
  7. As others have said, these are great kits for most Wednesday fans. I still won’t be buying one but they’re very nice.
  8. I enjoyed the first half. The second never really got going. Smith looks like a positionally astute guy. He was a little rusty but found the right spaces. Famewo looked strong and James had a decent half. Nice to see Dennis back, looking powerful You wouldn’t want to start many games with the side that started the second half. No one really did much I still don’t see a future for Alex Hunt
  9. Paedo watch confirms that’s the case. Young Chansiri is following him.
  10. As long as they have the same sanctions as we had last season, I’m ok. Not being able to spend money on transfers etc restricts you. When it happened to us, at least we knew our owner and manager, so we were ahead of Derby in terms of planning. They’re just scraping a squad together. They won’t be a threat this season and we’ll hopefully be out of this division before they are. Let them get on with it.
  11. I backed us each way at 6-1. We really should have an excellent chance if we can keep everyone fit and add a few more before the season starts.
  12. I like this too mate. If you can take a better photo, from directly in front, you could probably reverse Google search it and see if it’s a print.
  13. I agree. We’ve done some great early business and he can take a decent squad away with him to Portugal. As you say, we’ll doubtless bring in some loans and hopefully one or two permanent deals too. We can’t complain at the moment.
  14. Some nice pieces there MOTB. I probably like the Bendit one the most. I also like a couple of the abstract ones, one reminds me of a few graffiti artists. Like you, I try to buy what I love, rather than just buy for investment but I think I’ve done ok on both fronts. The trick is to find artists before everyone else, and certainly before the galleries do.
  15. Once shared a table with him for dinner. We chatted about the abuse he got for being seen to be a L**ds fan. I recall him getting pelters at Wembley in 93 when he was there with the cameras outside. He was a really lovely guy. RIP
  16. That’s painted by a guy called Christian Rex Van Minnen. His paintings are insanely weird but phenomenally executed.
  17. Thanks mate. It’s more interesting than most of your standard investments. It’s served me well so far.
  18. I don’t think beating them would go anywhere close to making up for defeat in the playoffs. My only interest this season is the league.
  19. I wondered what people do outside of football, that gives them pleasure (sexual exploits notwithstanding ) Happiness for me is in art. I’ve been a collector for 14 years or so. It’s an alternative to chucking money into a pension and it provides a lot more fun along the way. I started with graffiti and have moved into contemporary art over time, more recently buying more eastern artists. Yes, I know most of what we have hanging in the house is weird as F but I’m comfortable with my taste. My wife is a trooper for tolerating me.
