  1. I'll add in stuff like - "FFS Chansiri why didn't you buy that land opposite on Penistone Road"
  2. It's just clutching We're at a point now where a segment of fans made their minds up last season re DC, so now things are looking brighter are too stubborn to even consider changing their mind. So they're now just looking for reasons to back up their argument, simple confirmation bias Now we've stayed up stuff like not having a DoF, or parts of the stadium looking dated/tired are suddenly major issues... Incredibly no one was mentioning this stuff at Wembley
  3. Hopefully the come down is a nice first step towards them fucking off completely Although, it could also be an intentional thing to keep themselves relevant, because they know protests won't get any support now - so they now want to try and position themselves as a 'voice' than a protest movement
  4. The 1867 Group told Sheffield Wednesday news: “He [Chansiri] needs to put a proper strategy in place. A proper transfer strategy, a proper business strategy. A proper club policy going forward. Fuck me, do they hear themselves out loud when they speak. Reminds me of a manager I once had who said the department needs to focus on "synergies" but didn't have a fucking clue when asked how.
  5. I wish I was banned sometimes as I can't help but get drawn into long heated arguments. I kinda enjoy it tbf but often look back and think what the hell did that achieve and that I've just wasted a couple hours of my life.
  6. Spot on The lack of accountability and understanding for any knock on impacts or alternative suggestions just demonstrates how childish and naive this group. There's zero thought process of any collateral damage from their actions. The simple fact they deem it their responsibility to ridicule, bait and humilate our current owner into selling but take zero responsibility in sourcing a buyer. and now we have some young kid singing their song but its nowt to do with them apparently The base position of a fan is to support the club, and by association fund the club, to deviate away from that should take some pretty substantial justification. Every gripe they have has been proven to have very little substance. But yet they continue with catastrophising absolutely fucking everything to make Chansiri out as some evil oppressor we must rise against. Which could actually be quite dangerous when you consider the suggestible segment of fans. All this whilst ignoring all the many positives with our team, manager and finances. Honestly I've never been more fucked off with a group of fellow Wednesdayites in my life. Let's just get over the line Saturday and they'll either go away or make fools of themselves over the summer.
  7. I can vouch for @bazapeps as I know him on a personal level, he's actually one of my best mates, we just see this issue completely differently. He won't condone what that kid did for the right reasons, nothing to do with the perception after the event in his case, that I can assure. I live in hope one day he see's the light and stops associating himself with the children's club mind.
  8. This is what riles me up We're at the point now anything Chansiri does that isn't an A+ will be villified and used as confirmation bias to try and promote further protests. For example most agree ST phases aren't ideal, but they'll use every phase from now on as a way to pretend its a new reason for outrage. Using late phase South Stand for their points and ignoring the fact that every single one of us had the chance to buy at £460. I did at first think they mean well but were just very childish, naive and misguided but now I think it's becoming clear their motive is more about their ego. The reality is though a large section of their support was based on a big % of fans swayed heavily by the most recent results. Get over the line Saturday and it'll be quite funny watching them make fools of themselves over the summer trying to drum up support.
  9. I really hope not - but as you say they're probably too invested now. The only reason they got any level of traction was because of results. Get over the line Saturday and let's see them try and do something in the summer, I think it'll be quite funny when they realise how little real support they actually have.
  10. Let's get over the line on Saturday and hopefully this group will fuck off forever
  11. In fairness to OT, most of the posters sided with Chansiri on this one, albeit with some predictable exceptions.
  12. I feel the need to highlight my intended sarcasm in this post
  13. Nope, he gets critcised for appointing Xisco and criticised because it's theoretically possible Rohl could leave us one day.
  14. Exactly Every phase has been a £25/£35 increase, £1 - £1.50 per game Probably will be for the next one too The idea this is something to be outraged and offended by is fucking exhausting The type of bullshit whinging you'd expect from the pigs but not us, sick of it
  15. Not a new reason for outrage imo, minor increase on phase 3. Multiple and short phases are the valid criticism but seeing the usual shite on twitter and OT to suit the whinging narrative.
  16. "Rohl is going to walk because of the facilities"
  17. It's gonna be the same crap constantly from now on isn' it, every time a club gets bought or invested in it'll be used as justification for protesting.
  18. Yeah thought the same. The more I think about this, they've had to crowdfund all their protests so far and people will at some point stop donating if nothing changes. Hopefully Chansiri realises this and is why he's staying quiet. It might pick up again if we go down - but if we stop up the liklihood is they peaked at the Birmingham game.
  19. Does the FFP three season loss rule reset upon promotion/relegation?
  20. Sounds like every Owlstalk thread. I don't know why I put myself through posting on there sometimes, I'm like a moth to the flame.
  21. I agree We've had bad results under Rohl already and he has always overseen a reaction We'll stop up
  22. After the Plymouth win, if someone offered me that table after these two games I'd probably have taken it.
  23. Sorry mate but I just read all this as noise with some nice buzz words. For people to back your cause, you need to be specific and say exactly what you want to see from the current or new owner, and crucially specify how those things are balanced with ticket prices and FFP.
  24. To add to this, on the topic of phases I messaged Chansiri on LinkedIn about them, amazingly he's polite and open when not being harrassed and ridiculed. He basically said whenever season tickets are on sale for a longer period of time people wait until the last minute to buy them, which is why he does phases. The idea is the same as any short term sale - to try and create urgency. I'm still not convinced it's an optimal way of selling them or the need for so many phases, but I recognise I'm in no place to kick off cause he has the data and there is obviously some logic behind the decision. The most important fact is £460 for an adult season ticket is reasonable, whether we have a day or a year to buy one, we've done early bird for a decade, £460 is the only price that matters for comparison.
  25. Think this is fair As I said earlier in the thread, my experience and that of up to 10,000 others was... "oh season tickets are back on sale" logs on buys season ticket with card (via PayPal) gets on with rest of day Most of those people couldn't give two fucks about using PayPal or future phases.
