  1. I actually thought he's learned his lesson last season and was staying in the background a little more then up he pops stomping his size 4 boots into everything again.
  2. I don't disagree with DC on people slating the club but he can't keep taking social media posts too seriously, he should have introduced Senor Munoz today and then taken a step back, once the manager has had his say he could have let him leave and then rip Palmer a new un. 😀
  3. At the end of the day we're not Manchester City and we're run by a bit of a madman, with that in mind this is a decent appointment.
  4. Prepare yourself for Xisco inferno.
  5. I meant the OTHER bald guy Terry, your much more even handed in moderating 😂
  6. The problem with that site is if the bald guy doesn't agree with you he deletes your comments or bans you, no room for open debate whatsoever and he just rides roughshod over anyone's opinions with his own.
  7. Had a decent season, good to see him back.
  8. This is what was widely speculated, I think DC has made the right decision here.
  9. It's quite refreshing to see some hatred for that site on here. 👌
  10. I fully agree with this, I did struggle with the new album but having seen the tracks played live it's totally grown on me now, you can guarantee if they'd carried doing albums in the style of the first one they be being accused of being one trick ponies by the very same people that are slating them for changing.
  11. Lets face it unless it's Pep some won't be happy with whoever is selected, piggys were not happy with Heckingbottom and look what happened there, we just have to back whoever it may be.
  12. This is what the grunter is having a dig at: Why charges could not be brought against Sheffield Wednesday regarding the Hillsborough disaster 17 May 2019|News We know the sentencing of Graham Mackrell on May 13 for his role in the Hillsborough disaster has been an important milestone for everybody affected by the events of that tragic day. There has been coverage in The Guardian which questions why charges were never brought against Sheffield Wednesday, the club at which the incident happened. We know this is an ongoing concern for some people and want to offer some further clarity. While it is true that Sheffield Wednesday as a club has never ceased to exist, the company responsible for the club in 1989 only existed on paper and had no assets. As a matter of law, each company is a separate legal entity and only the company in existence can be criminally liable for the tragic events in April 1989. This means that any financial penalty in the event of a conviction would not be payable by any other person including the present owner and shareholders. It is understandable that families and others regard there being no real difference, but the legal entity responsible for paying any criminal penalty is not the same. Any civil liability of the company for consequences of events in 1989 remains the responsibility of the insurer from that time.
  13. The incident I'm talking about happened in 1990, well before the days of MM.
  14. Yes that's true, not much loyalty in football.
  15. They wouldn't but DC is clearly a difficult man to work with, there are always jobs coming up so why would any manager worth their salt take this one when something else will invariably crop up soon after.
  16. The reason I asked is I've got a grunter claiming we did it to cover some dodgy financial dealings and that the original club (in principle) no longer exists.
  17. He seems to make the managerial role less and less of an attractive proposition each year.
  18. I went to a steering group meeting a while ago where he said the same thing a fan then said that he buys season tickets for all his family, buys shirts and merchandise etc and asked what more could he possibly put in??? We need a sustainable infrastructure but we appear as far away from that as we'll ever be.
  19. Not been but reading the transcripts it sounds like the same guff he was preaching 5 years ago, he needs to look at other revenue streams not just the fans pockets, no long term strategies just knee jerk reactions, the goodwill we gained in those glorious play off days eroded in a few hours.
  20. Why does a company check of SWFC only show Sheffield Wednesday Football Club Ltd existing from 1990, what was it before and why the change?
  21. This is one of the better posts I've read on the subject and does seem plausible, it would go someway to explaining the effort put in for the 2nd leg v Peterborough. DC could make amends by appointing a decent name manager quickly, in reality he's probably not even started the process.
