Old spreadsheet Pete, you can get fucked if you expect his twaddle to remain on this forum the dodgy Danish gimp

Is that him who goes to about one match a decade and thinks all our fans are National Front supporting racists?

At least get the right Manchester club if you are being a twat. Saying that I always remember the bright sparks in our fan base doing the Dambusters theme at Old Trafford. It was one of the few times I was in an away ground genuinely going WTF this ain't good. Justice was quite swift I recall by the locals

Went to that game (was it a Sunday match?) the atmos outside was vile, I was in the queue at a burger van when this Manc started squaring up to me, I said I'm getting a chesseburger you daft t***" 😀

At the 75th minute it's at least 21.30 in a game where we've been absolutely toss and loads of fans have already left. You've screenshot the stand with the most expensive kids tickets (along with the South) where all the nob heads sit, can't imagine why there's no kids there 🤔

Oiiiii I sit there (then again the Mrs says I'm a nob head) 😃

But is Chansiri going to receive that message?

He only thinks in the extreme short term and he only thinks about money. His ticket pricing policy shows this. He’s not bothered about how his policy today affects attendances in 5/10 years time.

Given that there’s going to be hardly any home tickets sold due to cost/performance, he’s already got his money this year whether 20,000 turn up or 2 - so a boycott will barely even register with him.

The worry now is that his expected price rise in January, continued shit performances and threatening of fans puts season ticket holders off, and they find something better to do on a Saturday afternoon and never return.

This is true, the strategy is very short term.

Is DC legally accountable to fund the club? I know he’s spat his dummy out big time but if he doesn’t put any money in surely the EFL will intervene?

    were fucked.

Not sure how they can intervene apart from tipping him upside down and shaking the Baht out of his pockets.

And this is what I don’t get either.

If this 1867 Group know of (or are fronted by) a potential investor, then why the fuck aren’t they acting as a middle man or mediator to get people sat around a table, in order to find out what Chansiri wants? Following that, it might then be possible to put the wheels in motion and try and find an amicable way forward in acquiring the club.

For all we know Chansiri might well be prepared to take a substantial hit financially, but unless someone talks to him and can provide proof of funds to show they aren’t just tyre kickers, nothing is going to happen.

It’s not exactly fucking rocket science is it?

I think they're trying to back him into a corner and get the fans onside in the process, they've failed miserably on both counts. The direct Tweet (or X) to Bannan was nothing short of disgraceful.

And I've never been one to advocate violence, but I'll make an exception for this mob, the 1867, the racists at the WTID Podcast, Hargreaves etc

I hope they get smashed up and down Penistone road

    Not forgetting the idiot brothers.

Get this on pay per view and I'm in 😃

Fair points. Human rights v responsibilities and the weighting of this is suspect whilst having common ground we may significantly diverge also lol

I guess regards Chansiri do we honestly think we’ve crossed the Rubicon now - I still think an upsurge in results will dampen down the anger and whilst I think the base of anti Chansiri as grown it’s not the majority of the base is my guess.

Why does anyone own a football club ultimately from abroad? I’ve always held him to us word it’s something he wanted to pass to his family.

FFP rules screwed Chansiri in the first 3 years. Splashing the cash, innovative sponsorship injections and ultimately the ground sale are options now all dried up.

Sustainable running of the club involves pricing, extra events (being planned), wage controls, success on the pitch and cup runs. It also involves having a talent production system that can be recycled generating revenue via selling players. Rehabilitation of old and young players is part of that.

If you look over 8 years fine. But I think the second part of his ownership is more about the paragraph directly above - and that only started post covid restriction being lifted.

Sunderland are a decent example of how it can be done, they were arguably in a worse mess than us but now look like a team that will challenge and could get to the top flight in the next few years.
