I'm struggling to remember if this is the same Ricky or not
Derby County away when they beat us 1-0 under Brian Laws (90th minute winner). We were in a pub not far from their ground and a Ricky comes in saying there's an even better pub to go to in the city centre. We decide to follow him there as apparently a karaoke or something like that was about to happen.
Well it was a pretty crap pub to be fair and no karaoke so we walked out after one drink and headed back to where we were. Word got round that around 15 minutes after we left, Derbys' firm arrived in that pub and beat the crap out of him and a small minority of Wednesday fans that stayed. Quite glad we moved on
I had a very, very similar encounter to this and Ricky was stood at the door on his phone when we walked in, we left because there was only one young lad serving behind the bar, it was surrounded by riot vans when we passed it later.

How the fuck can you not know Ricky.
I think I know who it is just wasn't 100% sure, I once went to Brighton away was having a pee in a boozer toilet and he came in and started puching the fook out of the cubicle door, fastes piss I've ever had 😆
-
Was he a really stocky lad, one you wouldn't want to get in a scrap with?

What on earth was he doing lateish on when he appeared to leave a through ball in front of T1 to the forward? Gave us kittens!
I thought it was a cert Plymouth would nick one from that!!

Really, really needed this one and got it, eases the pressure on the next two tougher games, on current form we could even get something out of those but it won't be easy. Quick shout out to Beadle had the odd lapse but looks a much more assured keeper than Dawson.

I'd take another of these tomorrow
Great moment, who scored for us in this?

Don't forget he's the best manager we've ever had 😆

Going to Manchester on Friday to see David McAlmont of McAlmont & Butler fame with his new venture with Hi-Fi Sean. They're on at Band On The Wall which is a new venue for me. I've listened to the album a couple of times and while it's no McA & B, the voice is still in fine fettle.
Then in March I've got Echo & The Bunnymen in Leeds and Drella at The Underground in Bradford. Then a gap until September when it's The The in Manchester, so I'll be looking to squeeze a few more in.
Been looking at the The The dates, he's an artist I'd love to see.

I think its fair to say this was called by many on here
Hypothetical world but if Moore had stayed with us he would have been sacked anyway - but we would have 6 - 9 points more at this stage as a result of the continuation factor / Xisco was fucking useless
Moore was a flat track bully manager - he was found out at the pivotal moments and its probably no surprise he couldn't cut it at Championship level as a result
That hypothetical world would have cost us a hell of a lot in compo though.

Darren Moore sacked

I'm actually sick to death of Coventry fookin City right now.
-
Hopefully speculation but if Rohl were to go that surely would have to be the end for DC.
-
I thought Coventry looked really good when we played them before Christmas, we had a few moments in the second half but were well beaten, Sakamoto ran the show for them, this will be a tough one and a feel a draw may be the best we can hope for.

If you don't despise this bloke quite enough watch the documentary The Killing$ of Tony Blair, your hatred will go off the scale.

Very sad news, he fought that hideous disease with dignity to the end, a sad loss.

Coventry looked streets ahead of us in so many ways, I wasn't too disappointed with not getting anything from today as I didn't really expect owt, I am still disappointed with the Cardiff result which would have mitigated this, we need four points at least from the next two.

So so disappointing that today. Just how we threw it away.
After getting the opener with a fantastic team goal and finish, we controlled it. Completely. At half time we were saying they were shit, didn’t look like they knew how to deal with our pressing game and created nothing.I didn’t even think we’d rue the missed chances as it just felt like one would go in, and that would be that. But obviously that wasn’t the case.
Vaulks is player of the month for December for me, he again had a solid game, Bannan too. Another good performance. As well as Bailey, who was only missing a goal to cap off another positive outing.
The ref was abysmal. For both sides at times. I’m not having the ‘soft’ pen not being given at all, we were in front of it. Fletcher’s shirt was undoubtedly pulled and quite a lot. It just happened very quickly. He was in. Absolutely zero need for him to go down otherwise.
The second one, didn’t look like pen from our angle.Dawson. Job done for me now. While Vasquez isn’t the answer long term IMO, I’d be surprised if he isn’t give a shot now. The second goal was unforgivable. There’s so much he could have done even if he didn’t think he could have held it. Push it out for a corner… not to mention get up quicker than a sloth to the rebound.
Thankfully, the other teams above us ballsed up. That’s the only real positive we can take regarding the result. But there are plenty of positives from the performance in general.
Still a long way to go.
Good summary Tex and agree with the bit in bold, if he'd reacted quicker and smothered the ball we'd have a point on the board.

Why it Earps? 🙂

Great and much needed win today, I thought Bannan was immense.

Don't forget he's our best ever manager according to that clown who runs Stalk!!!

Best performance of the season (not that that's saying much) a point was the least we deserved.

First time I've not made the trip down to Suffolk for a good few years for this, we could do with at least a draw, I think we'll get one.
