Andyben Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 He's right. Bannan wouldn't have got in our side that was relegated in 1999,let alone anything earlier. Quote
Billysboy Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 He’s bang on, but always seems a bit of a cock these days. Quote
Hirstys 12th Pint Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Tweeted he has had a 'small' Heart Attack. Get well soon Carlton. Quote

Ozzie Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Didn't he have a health scare when he was in Thailand or somewhere? Best wishes to the man. A player of his ilk we have needed over the years. Quote
mkowlthesexynewversion Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 His twitter account used to show him drinking quite a bit, and smoking large cigars Not gonna have helped Quote

He’s naturally fit, but, you can’t burn the candles at both ends. He’s still guzzling wine and Guinness by the bucket load, yes, he’s training every day. But you can’t load your body both ways without having an issue. I do a lot of distance running and cycling, and if I am in training for a race in either, I cannot touch a drop of booze. Quote

bricat Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 I think one of his properties is an apartment on the 90+ floor of a building in China. That would give a few people a dodgy ticker. Quote
Skamp Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Well I hope he's OK. He does such a lot of good work for the Cavendish Centre, a charity that gets very, very little terms of government funding and relies heavily on donations and supporter fundraising. 1 Quote

I don’t feel quite as smug finding out he had a minor heart attack near the start! Im guessing he will have raised more for Cavendish than I have for Alzheimer’s Research UK. For anyone remotely interested it’s 1000ft climb on the half marathon route, if you go on the Run for all there is a profile of the route, nicely sums it up. Anyway best wishes to Carlton, I can’t say a bad word about anyone running 13miles to raise money for charity. Edited March 28, 2023 by Tank_Owl2,0 2 Quote
HoylandOwl Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 He’s posted something about being fine now or summat on social media I think. Quote
Tylluan Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 He's still talking as if he'll be doing the London Marathon for Cavendish. The Sheff half was supposed to be part of his warm up for the big one Quote
Tank_Owl2,0 Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 That’s brave bc I thought he’d said the tests were inconclusive. Not sure I’d be doubling my run without having a scooby about why I wasn’t feeling well - apart from the obvious of just running 13miles. It’s only a couple of weeks to the London marathon. Quote
Ozzie Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Maybe we should have him train alongside our team. Apart from his ticker he'd put many of em to shame even though he's twice the age of some Quote
