We've not played Swansea all that many times really in our history.

35 in total so far.

The head to head record stands thus...

We've won 13, Swansea have won 9, and there have been 13 draws.

Although we've not played them too much, our last win at their place (old place) came in ..... 1983.

The last time we played them at their ground.

Wednesday 25th November 2020

Wednesday team: Westwood (Wildsmith 14), Palmer, Van Aden (Shaw 69), Paterson, Borner, Lees, Odubajo, Bannan, Reach, Luongo (Pelupessy 70), Rhodes (Kachunga 56).

Unused Subs: Penney, Urhoghide, Dele Bashiru, Brown, Hunt.

Always time to re-collect the game v Swansea in 1983 in freezing conditions

Us real men grr on the Kop all huddled together like penguins

My grandad and I decided we’d go in the North for a change, good decision !

If DM gave hardly anything useful in these press conferences XM gives even less.
On the one hand I am ok with it if it gives us an advantage or stops the opposition from learning anything. However there are some things that frankly it would make sod all differences for him to answer the Qs more directly.

That all said, I do think fans these days expect more than some of us older supporters that basically had the game and the green’un for our insight on what was happening at the club!

Rob Staton is a bellend though.

The number of questions they ask that make your eyes roll is increasing weekly. Although I think they find it hard to make much of these press conferences these days. CC may not have been to everyone’s taste but he was generally media friendly.

This gives you a flavour, it’s £20 note levels

He's never going to answer questions about why so and so didn't get a shirt because that would be an admission he got it wrong.

However with all that "why you not ask me about Musaba" gubbins I do wonder if he'll get a start on Saturday.

Probably not 😁

Part of me thinks that Ihiekwe has to be an option cos he’s a pure defender and he’s a bit of a leader. I’d go with him between Bernard and Famewo. We need leaders on the pitch at the minute, as much as I’m a big critic of his, I’d even be tempted with Vaulks ahead of Hendricks/Byers.

I know what you mean re Vaulks he is limited, but, to be fair to Hendrick, once he got going the other day he seemed to do quite well winning it back. Byers too made quite a few tackles.

I do like Vaulks for a host of reasons, one in that he's a proper squad man. Does the things others may not like to, although he needs to stop trying to be Iniesta when he has got the ball.
