Surely he's finished after that... cant see a way back

He's first name in Brentford team sheet isn't he?

So he bets hell score at 3pm Saturday, at 6pm on Friday, what's the biggie as majority of mugs do the same.

I appreciate that gambling is an addiction and it may well be that he's struggling here but surely there's a red line you don't cross, especially as there's an element of 'insider knowledge and influence'.  Trying not be crass here, but there's enough out there to bet on other than football.

I'm telling ya, there'll be an interview where he breaks down and cries. Then all will be forgiven as he's had "struggles"

A. Insider information.

B. Not allowed to bet on football.

Do you need anymore help with that?

Could potentially be a can of worms, If you're betting on a game you can directly influence then it is a bit sus.

Although you'll not likely be able to convince an opponent to let one in... you can certainly instruct your team mates to just pass to you exclusively for a tickle on any goal scored.

Yep.

Addictions are horrible, and it's not a case of flicking a switch on and off. But as you say Skamp, there are / were other avenues if he couldn't stop himself gambling.

1. insider information shut up you daftcunt. If he's fit, he starts. not exactly privileged information is it.

2. He plays for Brentford. The owner bought the club with funds made from his business supplying betting information on err, football. the PL has preferred betting partners, clubs are sponsored by betting companies. The Sky TV deal is funded by constant betting adverts at every opportunity. HE BET ON HIMSELF TO SCORE FIRST it stinks.

You over here on license?

1. The rules clearly state if you're a footballer then you aren't allowed to bet on football.

What is it the meerkats say?

I do agree with you on the owners and Stork etc. We play in the Sky bet league, many teams adorn betting companies on their kit. There is an issue but point 1 stands.

In the 70s I worked with a guy that played semi pro for Boston FC.

If they were ever on the coupon, he couldn't even do the pools.

He should've waited a bit longer until the corrupt fat lad turned up a few yrs later
