  1. Not the first Stockdale to play for us. Anyone remember the other?
  2. Aren't we all? Just bought a ticket for Sigur Ros in August.
  3. Is it that long already? Good day and night out is bollocks, I don't have happy memories. It was our chance to finally end the misery and we miserably failed.
  4. That's crazy money but I can understand with how the world is going. My dad was friends with Paul Shritliff(RIP) and his brother Peter. This is a match worn shirt I have and sometimes wear from Peter. I must admit that I'm not sure of the year or game but my dad gave it to me.
  5. Sadly that's true mate. I bet there are so many more with stories to tell. I'll watch it but I'm sure I won't enjoy it.
  6. I wonder how many others have had these similar f***ed up experiences as young lads or lasses. When I played u11s there was always a bloke 'coach' who would hang around the changing rooms or sidelines handing out sweets, giving shoulder rubs etc. I never thought anything of it at the time but looking back it was a bit strange or maybe it wasn't. Now, as a teacher, it seems unbelievable that anyone could prey on a child. It makes my blood boil.
  7. Patrick Kluivert at the Spanish GP today....considering his driving history 😞. Were we ever linked with him?
  8. Some tasty gigs, I am envious living abroad and not being able to see any live music for years. Just had a quick scan and Sigur Ros will be in Seoul this summer. Not my usual style but I can imagine they would be good live. Standing tickets from 90 quid......
  9. Benito looking for a contract next season. Des Walker going off injured so he can get to the pub to watch Forest smash the bades. Glen Loovens playing like Pirlo. Ross Wallace playing for sausage rolls. Fun to watch, but remember Weston Park hospital do so much good. Its something to be proud of.
  10. Happy with that lineup. Hopefully it won't come to chucking Kamberi on. I like his effort but I'm not sold on him. Be interesting to see how long Windass can last. I think he's a better corner taker than Baz.
  11. Should never accept losing but I think we showed a lot more in the second half but without looking like scoring. One nil down isn't the end of the world and I think we still have a very good chance. Sunderland looked organised and kept an unfit Bannan quiet but the onus is on us now to be up for it and linking the strikers with the midfield/ wing backs more on Monday.
  12. Ffs we haven't been good or bad but we've been solid. Had a shot for every time the commentator said giant. I can't even see the TV now. Still, all to play for.
  13. 6:15pm update. Just been for a long walk and had a pint. Decided that I'll go to bed at 8pm and get around 2:30am. Then might need a 소맥(beer mixed Soju) or two to calm myself.
  14. I don't think it really matters. I just want us to play to our strengths and not over-think it. I Still have flashbacks to the Huddersfield games. The away goals rule doesn't count anymore?
  15. I think Luongo has been excellent this season. Full of 'volume' and his experience has really shone through. Calmish head and strong in the tackle. But I'd say his positional sense has been the most impressive. When you think of all the CMs BB has played with, I can't think of any better. You might argue Kieran Lee or even Hutchinson first time around. But I think Bannan summed it up. Luongo does the 'dirty' work and leaves Bannan to get forward and pull the strings. I know it's been a few years since I went to a game but it used to annoy the hell out of me when Baz came back too deep.
  16. Stupid o'clock kick off here. 3:45am. Only good thing is no work today and tomorrow and the wife is away. What would you do? Go out for a few jars and stay up(with the high risk of peaking too early and missing the whole game) or have an early kip and wake up at 3:30 with a cuppa tea, which is what I usually do for night games.
  17. Brilliant news. I think we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. A 24 year old lad, hope he gets back to full strength and enjoys his life again.
  18. Is 5:20pm too early to crack a beer for an 8:30pm kickoff? I think 3-1 today. We score first then concede from a corner, then we hit them with two long range goals. Neymarv and Bannan to win it. Enjoy the game guys, I do envy you, I'll be watching on iFollow.
  19. I think I've just aged 20 years in the last 2 hours. Massive win and how we didn't score all those easy chances in the first 10 minutes, I'll never know.
  20. Aye... 3:45am kick off for me. Bloody Sky but fair play to those going, that's a great number.
