  1. I voted Bannan and it was a toss up between him and Vaulks - but just like Bannan, Vaulks hasn’t been consistent all season either, although I’m the first to admit he’s been a man mountain for us in recent weeks. Some of my rationale in voting for Bannan was sentimental but the main reason has been for his leadership, not just on the pitch but also in terms of galvanising the players and helping instil some belief in them, as well as maintaining team spirit off it. I’m the first to admit that his best days are behind him though and that this ought to be his swan song season at S6, at least as a guaranteed first team player anyway. I’d say Valentin is arguably our most improved player over the course of the season and I think we’ve got a real find in him. Had he shown the form at the beginning of the season that he’s showing now he’d have been on my shortlist for player of the season, and I’m looking forward to seeing more of him in an Owls shirt next season.
  2. I’ve tried to stay out of this but you’re taking the piss now. The view of the 1867 Group is this: Everything shit at the club = Chansiri Everything positive at the club = despite Chansiri. If you lot were anymore blinkered you’d have jockey’s on your backs. I'm absolutely sick and fucking tired of it!
  3. No longer acting Billy Big Bollocks then? Serves the twat right. I wonder how “little scrote” will get on at school (or at his PRU) tomorrow! 😂
  4. Hope he celebrates his 50th birthday as SWFC manager!
  5. Any wonder that kid has turned out a a total scrote with a role model like his father? The smug look on the little twat’s face as he’s filming says it all. And then you have his idiot father now showing that video like a trophy and boasting about it, yet at the same time he also has the fucking cheek to play the victim card. Best result of the season, biggest feel good factor we’ve had this season and most together club and fans have been all season - and still you have fucking idiots who claim to be supporters destabilising things! I hope Chansiri bans both of them from S6, along with that total fucking muppet who ran around the pitch with the corner flag.
  6. I’ve just had to clear my history and website data on my iPad as the site wasn’t loading. Works since doing that.
  7. I am! Can’t remember the last time I was this nervous about a Wednesday match. I just can’t bear the thought of or possibility of League 1 football again next season.
  8. On the very, very rare occasions I want L**ds to win they always manage to fuck it up! And it looks like tonight is going to be no exception.
  9. I got the greatest news in my life yesterday when it was confirmed that, following tests, Mrs Bellsview does not have cancer (been the shittest last few weeks of her (and my) life). So I’m hoping the great news continues to tomorrow and that we get the 3 points! Come on Wednesday!
  10. Keep our heads for 20 minutes now, rather than chase a fourth! Leaving ourselves exposed at the back trying to score more.
  11. Not many teams have been able to keep an eye on him this season in fairness.
  12. How many times have Sunderland let us down this season? This time they lose at home to Millwall. Need Rotherham to hold out for the draw. Or even better, win!
  13. Rotherham v Birmingham game stopped after 8 minutes due to a medical incident in the home end. Game still not resumed 10 minutes later. Not a fan of Rotherham in the slightest, but hope that the supporter who has taken unwell is ok.
  14. Tomorrow is St. Sheridan’s Day (33years) - hope that will be a lucky omen for us!
  15. Every club outside of the Premier League should boycott the FA Cup next season. The FA would soon come running back to the table then!
  16. That is really sad news. Bricat was a long time and well respected poster on here. He’ll be missed. RIP Brian. Fly high fellow Owl. 🦉💙🤍🦉
  17. I was a bit too young for that game but the older Wednesday lads often reminisce about it. As you’ve said, Wednesday were everywhere. 12,000 of us out of a crowd of 26,000 - must have been incredible. Weren’t we losing at halftime as well, then came back to win it in the second half. I’d give anything for a similar result on Sunday! Although in saying that I’d prefer a much more comfortable scoreline in our favour, just to avoid more mental torture!
  18. I don’t think it’s over yet either, but I still look back to Millwall at home and Huddersfield away in horror. I thought even back then that if we were to go down, those were the two games that rammed a couple of nails in our relegation coffin. It wasn’t just losing to them, it’s what it did for our (and their) goal difference. But while there’s still points to play for, we’re still in with a chance to stay up. I wrote us off after Peterborough away in the playoffs last season and we know what happened then. Plus when do Wednesday ever do anything the easy way?
