  1. Just needs a bit more belief to want to go and win this. NML showing why he is ordinarily a winger snatching at chances
  2. He hasn't retired from a bit of botox by the looks of it 🤨
  3. I would post a picture of Warnock on Soccer Saturday but I guess we draw the line at ***** even in this thread
  4. Yep, huge crowd that day, Kop went absolutely mental when we scored Man U faded after that and not sure how long Big Ron lasted. Not a shock well only in the sense that it seems such a long time ago now that we were matching these sides on the pitch
  5. Who needs sleep you should be watching it live on ifollow. But do get your point, always great to track back thru match threads and particularly the huge u turns of moods and opinions on players. The why is that pile of shit on the bench to what a master stroke to bring him on was
  6. On the negative side, the Everton FA Cup replay saga when we had matched them and then suddenly we were 5 down at HT But it is the mundane ones, losing 3 - 0 at home to Colchester first match of the season, Turners last game not long after, snatching a 2 - 2 draw against 9 man Yeovil, said Stevenage game, a 1-1 draw at Dagenham. The shock simply being how bad we were, the fear it could get worse, couple of them where I questioned ever going again. The ultimate positive, simply beating Man U in a Wembley cup final. It was a numb joy, if that makes sense, so shock in a real sense in that it took it took the day after and beyond to actually sink in
  7. Ok I could see it mentioned couldn't see it was 100% confirmed Presume that picture was taken this week 😃
  8. is 2) St Mirren - don't think we have had a confirmed answer on that one yet
  9. Reesh as the tits and I will put you down for the other two
  10. Todays gripe is the "educated" masses on Twitter suddenly becoming experts on tax residence and tax domicile and fucking it up
  11. Tbf with me talking he wouldn't have had to count sheep to fall asleep that night
  12. Notwithstanding the Wycombe one, be fun my niece is getting married that day, 3pm kickoff as well. On the basis I had no chance of a ticket, I am looking forward to me and the lads disrupting the wedding vows as and when we go 2 up early doors. "Do you take "Get the fuck in To be your lawful husband
  13. Be interesting how Rotherham respond - you either shake off the complacency that may have come in or you totally crumble. Our game v MK always looked pretty pivotal for respective ambitions but gone up a couple of notches more. Perhaps even more as it will be the last game of that round of fixtures
  14. He'll bottle it. Have to say the tad annoying point is that at Braga he genuinely appears to be building a team, focus on bringing younger players through. Now there may be external reasons why that plan got sidetracked at S6, but my angst has always been about his role in the huge missed opportunity to build a sustainable platform for the Club.
  15. Billsaja - spent far too much of my life reading said posts on the Woke Boardroom section
  16. Balboas Bomber wasn't it. Had a rather freaky obsession with the Rocky movies, to the extent you weren't actually sure he realised they were movies and not actual real life events
  17. Probably not, the valuation was a technical one for accounting purposes it is not meant to reflect the sale value more the "in use" value So how much would it cost to re-build to the same standard then adjusted for its age compared to useful life Like we valued on a rent yield multiplier - again an in use method
  18. I have never quite grasped the level of dislike for him. It seemed to be that him and indeed Wildsmith were the fans scapegoats for decisions managers made about the non inclusion of Westwood. Yes they made costly errors but as young keepers that is sort of expected.
  19. I was trawling my work emails and found a couple from a Lee Strafford
  20. I still like The Unforgettable Fire and indeed The Joshua Tree - you can see where Bono was headed but the latter is a classic album especially if you listen as an album, start to finish.
  21. I love the fact the ballboy actually demands to be in the celebration, given the location good chance he was the one at the end doing a bit of shithousery. Must be related somehow to Pato. Great buzz walking out the ground too, always the case with a last minute winner but heightened with the importance. Us fans staying patient, despite the frustration, really helps. Collectively we raised it after the BPF save, perhaps we need to do that more not simply waiting for a shit ref and play acting to finally annoy us enough
  22. It should have been 10-1 Sadly also our last victory at Wembley - time to remedy that methinks
