Nixon hides his behind his Patreon though.

Doesn't matter. It soon gets out.

He's as much responsible for the 1867 not dying out as anyone. They went quiet but he riled them all up with the Scott Hogan and 30k bollocks, which kept them going from November to the end of January when they decided Ugbo wasn't a striker so had something else to go on.

  2. My biggest issue is the genuine fans who didn't renew in phase because they listened to the 'we're the next Reading', 'we're going bust next year so you'll lose your money' and the 'if you buy, you're killing the club'.

I do believe that a large portion of their support has good intentions and think they're doing the right thing, but have been gaslighted into thinking the way they do by more cynical folk with a personal agenda.

They are now posting stories based on rumours by Football Insider, they really are fucking scraping the barrel, the sooner that shit rag goes bust the better.

To be fair, off-season must be shit for them.

Nixon has the made up rumours sewn up and any actual transfer news is broke by Att or the Matt guy on X.

Not just some posters - the vast majority were supporting DC. Despite his usual haranguing the site Führer had to finally give up and pull the thread. Groundswell of opinion just didn't match up with his agenda. What a ****.

The irony of this incident is that it has had the polar opposite effect to that which the anti DC bigots crave.

A few started calling him out and taking the piss.

Threads never last long past that.

IMO there are always ways around such rules, similar to wage caps

The Americans don't care about winning, they care about the league as a whole and a safe income stream.

So they'll change amortisation, so teams have strong and lean years, spread the wealth, knowing it'll even out as long as they're all safe in the league.

Then a luxury tax to rinse the Arabs.

  6. Same as the NFL and MLB.

Been saying for years this was what all the American funds were aiming for.

Every penny above the basic TV deal is pure profit once this comes in, and as it will scale with the TV deal, even if they kill the league, the owners will still get the gate/merch/Cup/friendly tour money.

The ***** weren't even about in October, the lying pricks, in the words of Geoff, they really are a tumour on the club

Pretty sure they tried the binbag thing that fell on it's arse v Preston in August, may have been Ipswich, then the tennis balls v Boro in September.

    They were about.

Although, if Chansiri had listened to them, we'd have had Moore back on a 5 year contract.

Let's get over the line on Saturday and hopefully this group will fuck off forever

One of them posted that they have stuff already planned for preseason.

They're too invested now to stop, they'll all just double down.

Signings will be wrong, letting 'legends' leave due to being cheap, Lep hasn't been rebuilt, rumours about takeovers and Röhl leaving all summer.

Saw one post saying the it was the pressure of the protests that made Chansiri appoint Röhl so they'll be claiming that too.

There's a woman on WS saying she was there and Mr Chansiri never touched the kid, it was the Security, there was also a family with young children that had to listen to the foul abuse the security received when he tried to move them on. Mr Chansiri walked away.

Yet there was some one arguing, that the video was right and not her (the eyewitness)

Simple solution, get him to release the full length video.

It's obviously cut and there's no way they didn't film themselves getting led away.

Complete contrast on here to the reaction on"  Stalk" re the dickhead and son video . Chansiri at fault for pushing a little kid, any dissenting voice jumped on . What a set of W*****s

The problem is that it's the main place they all get their Wednesday news from.

So they think that the fans paid the tax bill and that rabid anti-Chansiri is the majority view, which is why this puppet thought he would get support for his actions.

Wonder how big Darren is feeling.

Relieved that Forest Green were relegated from League Two.

I'm loving how they've all changed their tune, pretending that this didn't start as a pro Darren Moore protest and that they wanted him gone from the start.

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Couple of alternative stand out moments from yesterday.

Firstly on 95 minutes the immense Will Vaulks throwing himself into a block like his life depended on it.

Secondly Musaba during the lap of appreciation trying to find his family to come onto the pitch.  They were located in the South and brought down and his face and theirs was such a joy.  Made me feel a tad emotional for a moment.  Shows what this bloody club can do to you.

Barney the owl taking his/her kid round on the lap in a little owl suit.

  13. For a protest movement that is currently only running on Chansiri being embarrassing, as safety will scupper the rest of their arguments, and the fanbase 'deserving'better than him, the fanbase have tried their level best to make themselves look like the least deserving fanbase in the country.

Abusing the owners family, mocking dead kids, racism, this shit and just the general whining to everyone who'll listen about how hard done to they are and how bad Chansiri is.

If Chansiri made a yellow poster detailing the fan's fuckups and behaviour detrimental to the club, it would be longerthan the 1867's.

Why the fuck would anyone buy into this when, as they say, the biggest asset , 'the fans' is a complete shower of shite?

As we know a vital ingredient of play off success is our favourite term momentum.

Whichever of Ipswich or Leeds fail on the last day will be hard to rally, Southampton seem to have hit the rails, the stats don't favour a team finishing 5th or 6th but you can see that happening this season.

It's honestly like none of them actually want to be promoted this year.

Despite DC interviewing him but DR not being available until hed been 'let go' by the DFB in October?

Why do they think XM was on a monthly contract but DR and his team given 3.5yrs?

    3.5?

Though it was 1.5, till the end of next season?

This. But tbh. It needs to happen to a degree too. It’s been blindingly obvious when we’ve played against the better teams, we can be sliced open at will.

We have a number of individually talented players such as Bannan, Windass, Johnson. The issue is they're mavericks, roamers who don't fit into a rigid tactical system or the discipline or will to do so.

The change should have happened in L1, hopefully Chansiri has learned his lesson and allows it to happen.

We've recruited for it since relegation, just haven't implemented it in a meaningful way.

I’m just happy not funding his incompetence.

You do know how this plays out don’t you? We stay up & DC isn’t capable of keeping DR, so back to square one last summer.

We go down & DR is recruited by another club. So worse off than last summer.

What indication is there that he can't keep DR, or fund next season?

    No. He doesn’t.
FWIW I can’t see any other outcome but George has played his last game for Wednesday already.

I’m just disappointed it ended the way it did, last season and the one before he was tremendous at times

Don't think his body can keep up with the pace of the Champ.

Didn't need to be as fit when you had the opposition penned in their own box for 69 minutes per game, now we're the ones chasing shadows.

Good player but always a yard behind this season, which made him frustrated and led to errors.

I can see a meltdown in the press and on social media in 4 weeks when the released lists are out, can see a few favourites going, possibly Luongo style, where they are on massively reduced contracts and get cut while looking at other teams.
