Few interesting scores yesterday meaning we could potentially get a proper banana 🍌 game.

Good news is it would be on TV

Fun watching a few of the highlights as they put on the local radio commentary

The potential banana skin could also be an easier route to round three. You negative bugger. 🤣

True - and yes after 48 years of watching Wednesday that is my default position but looking at the empirical evidence the science would say those with a positive mindset are the deluded ones 😉

Still. Miserable bugger.

The purveyor of opinions that speak the brutal truth as opposed to living in a fantasy world with a chip on both shoulders where history counts for everything

Sadly whilst we as a fan base live on borrowed memories and perception of grandeur we ain't going anywhere

Lower league team, good day out for their fans and a nice financial boost to go with it.

Buxton, Alvechurch, Chippenham, Kings Lynn etc for me.

I can't ever take Ebbsfleet seriously after they did that Myclub experiment.

First season I started going to a few away games (mid 70s) I saw us at Chesterfield, Halifax, Mansfield.
Lost the lot. But 3-0 at Mansfield was by far the worst. Night match: cold, wet and seemed a long way back to Stocksbridge. Depressing.

Went to the 1-1 at theirs in 1980. Fuck me, what a shit hole. That many Wednesday fans crammed into a shitty part of thd ground, we hardly saw any of the game as the pitch was impossible to see from our angle.

Vowed never to go back and see no reason to think otherwise today.

Hawksbee and Jacobs had a player on from Alvechurch and he said he wanted us at Hillsborough. Pity they got Forest Green instead.

We played shit, I felt shit, they probably felt hungover as players having just returned from Copa Ibiza. Can understand why the state some of the players and us were in!

States weren't it?
