Ref is Carl Boyeson, last took charge of a game involving us at Fleetwood last season. An unhappy hunting ground, church, cardigan replacement stall etc for us but we are made of sterner stuff I hope and we bring back 3 much needed points. Wednesday wins 10 draws 4 Cambridge wins 10 The last 3 games at the Abbey Stadium have finished 1 loss and 2 draws. Thought defensively we were very solid and attack wise, looked very good at times Special credit to the subsitutions as that definitely changed the game. They were starting to get back into it at 1-0 but then changing the formation helped us out. Switching to a 3 at the back and having 3 in the centre of midfield gave us far more control of the game from then on. I was confident then a 2nd would be game over Well deserved Wednesday. owl71 Posted October 15, 2022 Share Posted October 15, 2022 Apart from the late equaliser at the Sty and Plymouth’s early season hot streak still not cooling, today couldn’t really have gone any better. Comfortable away win, at exactly the kind of place we dropped points last year. Gregory’s goal drought over. Ipswich draw a blank and lose at home in a game I was expecting them to win easily.
