Stats and Awards

Recommended Posts

What a time to be a Wednesday fan.

Liam Palmer - Player of the Month

Barry Bannan - in team of the week

Darren Moore - highest percentage win rate

Wednesday most wins in 2022

Lee Bullen Wednesday Legend - Manager of the Month in Scottish 2nd Tier

Just need an award for Cameron Dawson to finish Reesh off.

Best week of awards since I got a Bronze Medal in the Cubs Swimming Gala - not half bad for a 21 year old.

I love those stats.

It's so much more fun winning something than all the negativity and point deduction in the past.

He's taking the piss.

Being good in the 3rd tier is hardly fucking something to be proud of.

I believe that you can be proud of your achievements, no matter, where you are and who you are. The world would be such a sad place, if achievements would only count, if you are at a certain school, in a certain country or in a certain league.

Winning anything should always be enjoyable and pride should not be reserved for the Premiere League or Oxbridge.

Perhaps that's your mentality BUT I am embarrassed my club is spending it's 3rd stint in the 3rd tier since the turn of century and we've been frankly fooking crap for the majority of that period and accepting mediocrity is why this is a recurring nightmare!

Being a Wednesday fan or contracting Aids ?

I think being a Wednesday fan is increasing my life expectancy tbh.  I keep having to sprint to make train connections after away games in these far flung parts of the UK.  Then there’s the bouncing.
