Solihull is quite posh IIRC

Grimsby is a shithole though - only place I ever turned up still drunk from the night before at a clients

Solihull's ground is at the side of the airport, I had the pleasure of covering an FA Youth cup game there.

Grimsby's ground, an absolute hole in a hole of a place.

Solihull to get promoted though.

I watched the Wrexham vs Grimsby game + the Notts County vs Grimsby game the game before.

Whilst not exactly world class players, the football and the end-to-end play was exciting to watch.  Certainly more exciting than the Liverpool/ Real game

There’s probably a concert or summat on

Got the Italy v Argentina game on Wednesday, first concert not until 12th June but presume there is a turnaround time.

Wasn't last year at Villa Park or summat, it may be that Wembley charge a high fee in comparison, but also IIRC there is a cap on the number of events the stadium can host over a year

Hope Grimsby win somehow. Deffo sooner visit Cleethorpes for the excellent fish n chips, (nowt else!), that visit Solihull for yet another Land of the Giants on pitch bashing.

We won't be playing either

Vanarama have donated some cash to both sides too apparently

£20k to each club and they're in dialogue with the National League over the ticket pricing.

The National League have 'realised' that there wasn't enough lower price tickets but have said that the London Stadium set the prices.

At last count Grimsby had sold just short of 13k and Solihull have done 14k

So well done National League. Your showpiece will be played in a half empty stadium, where the acoustics aren't the best when it's full.
