(Not literally) The fact they ended up in MK is one thing, the reality is they were going to end up somewhere other than Plough Lane. The Govt as this archive shows were supportive if there was political capital to be made, the FA rubber stamped it. So I get the disdain for the MK Dons they are the scapegoat for what the powers that be allowed at the time. Interesting how the archives are suggesting that plans on asylum and reducing immigration numbers akin to those of the current Govt were raised back then, if not actually enacted.
