Loyalty in football is too few and far between now, clubs are run as businesses, and players are often but not always, looking to raise bank balance. It’s unlikely, but it’d be someone like a Liam Palmer who could have a chance. A player with an affinity for the club who spends their entire career at close to the same level that the club is. Wilson had a 20 year career with us and I can't see a player in the modern game matching that.
