Pato and Vaulks changed the tempo of the whole team. Vaulks’ first touch IIRC was a sliding block for a ball out wide, on halfway: he bust a gut to get there. Pato, as KM said. Alehouse at times but my god did he do a job. He deserved to score, he was everywhere. Their back line who may as well have had a cigar on in the first half didn’t know what to do with him.

While the nervy bullshit start was magnified with that second goal, and Beadle got DOGS abuse from a bloke behind us who was pissed, constantly screaming at him to fuck off back to Brighton. No complaints though when he made numerous saves to stop it going 3-0.
