I really do think the crowds that turned up in London and those that celebrated the Coronation locally or at home, plus the world wide interest shows that these type of remarks aren't edgy or funny, rather they are very much in the minority. Vocal minority, but still very much a minority

In answer to the equally 'edgy' question, it didn't clash with the Coronation so that the majority of the fans could see both as you both well know.

There’s stuff clashes with the football every week. If you want to watch the coronation then watch it, but I don’t see why we should shift everything around for it just so people can watch both. Record one if you must.

DM: I thought they [Wednesday] started the game well enough but we spoke before about Burton turning the game into a frenzy," said Moore. "What do I mean by that? Throw-in, long throw-in, corner, long-throw, corner, set-play, free-kick, so it caused a frenzy. But you've got to be able to defend that and do it repeatedly. What we failed to do is defend that repeatedly."

All we can do is focus on Tuesday. I think if you start looking and going into those dynamics then you're going into realms where you're suspecting things or epxecting things. What you can just do is look to Tuesday. Our thing now, and the main concern, is making sure we perform on Tuesday. Without a performance on it, how can you address some of the issues?

    Message to the fans

"They've seen us perform better, it's as simple as that. They've seen us over the course of this season and they've certainly seen us play better and know that we can play better and I think that's the concern really in terms of it and rightly so.

"What can we do now? You can't bring the game back, the only thing we can do is now look to the game on Tuesday.

"Obviously the players in there are quiet and down and sometimes to find the right words now when the game is immediately over and done with, there's a quiet and a disappointment because of it but the opportunity is gone. So what we have to do now is re-group, get back in the morning analyse that. What can we take from it? Maybe we'll get more questions when people have slept on it and then we'll move on to Tuesday."

The fuck does any of that mean

  3. Wasn’t he only brought in as an interim, end of the season job anyway?

Sacking managers really seems to have gone in to overdrive this season, usually it feels for those sides with something to play for that there’s an unwritten cut off point around the end of February, at which you decide to either make a change or back your man until the end of the season. Obviously there’s been a few in the premier league sacked this last week, and still talk of others potentially going.

Talk of Warnock earlier on another thread had be wondering how far away we are from one club paying compensation for another clubs interim manager.

  4. Youngest woke up just before 3, I saw we were 8 down needing 9 runs so put the cricket on.

How the umpire didn’t give a wide on the penultimate ball I don’t know. Bottles it. Not the best video or picture but you can make it out between the two
