We didn't have any momentum, despite promotion.

We stumbled across the line playing turgid football that was never ever going to get us anywhere in the league above

I would concur on the pitch, but lets call it the feel good factor in the fan base

The Moore decision was 50 :50

    The appointment of Munoz erm

The type of players recruited erm

The absolute PR disasters we have seen

The complexity and stupidity of the ticket price increases

See you are almost making the point of many of here who are not anti Chansiri!

    a) relegation was bloody painful but it as enabled to us to get the house in some form order (In Football terms!)

    b) it would seem that D.C. did want to give DM a chance but the two could not align on a few core beliefs.

    c) Chansiri as opted for route that involves a Young manager with some championship credentials (Ipswich fans were not impressed with their manager to begin with)

    d) transfer policy as been one augmenting existing team with young potential and players in need of rehabilitation - NOT a major splurge due to previous learnings!

    e) it’s currently failing because Munoz gone for a revolutionary approach of evolutionary and maybe not have ability DC hoped he’d have!

Now in one breath fans say DC chops and changes too often (which I dispute) and in another we want Munoz out after 8 league games and 3 months in the club!

if you ignore the decision on match day prices - which whilst killing our walk up- does seem to be maximising the revenue from away followings currently .. other than the odd rant the only other thing Chansiri anger is being fuelled on his past mistakes AND quite frankly the mis telling of some of those old so called mistakes!

Some fair points, but the current biggest mistake was not appreciating the momentum of promotion. We can argue the merits of Moore etc. The current disdain for DC is I think straightforward. As a Wednesday fan the good days are not that frequent. The wind in our sails post Wembley was torn aside by his decisions. At present the outcome looks pretty grim. Not only are the results poor but the football is shite.

It is a fatigue borne over 25 years of abject failures by many parties to sort the Club out, whilst many other clubs have sailed on by.

This was our chance and its fucked

Football fans are all another short termism. This 1867 group are as short term as it gets.

Their only goal is to drive the owner out of the club. They don’t have 50p to rub together between them, they aren’t bringing investors to the table themselves. They are only here to destabilise the club enough to force the owner to pull the plug.

They are not Sheffield Wednesday fans.

Now, if they had a viable investor to bring to the table, would they take this approach? The rhetoric is simply that we are trying to force the owner to sell… they aren’t smart enough to realise that to sell, the buyer has to meet the selling price and satisfy the EFL. If they had a viable plan they would do this out of the public eye, they have no plan.

I will never support or back a group like this.

It's always a shame that the local journalists don't ever look in this forums direction to get more considered debate and understanding from within the fan base

So in essence we’ve had 2 direct action attempts - Bin Bags & Tennis Balls.

After their first failed effort and the second efforts negative response they put the next set of actions to a vote.

They then settled on 4 ideas and balloons topped it but then they researched it and introduced the unlucky Thai colour.

Making it an attack on the owners culture origins as a way of driving him out.

It is a poor strategy which hopefully once the organisers are aware of the implications they will cease that route.

I think we all understand the frustrations but to me simply destabilising the Club without a coherent next step plan is not the route to go.

Find the investor, get the proof of funds, set out the strategy for the future. Let DC see him stepping aside is for the right reasons, because trying to shame him out won't work.

Show some credibility as a fans group, the previous incarnation of WTID got a meeting with the Coop bank and provided enough leverage for them to suggest to Milan to move a bit quicker and not via admin.

Not easy, those investors are not lurking on the street corner. If they are, avoid anyway

This, is what I’m wondering right now. It’s clear Att loves it, and while any self respecting parent would want to make their lad happy, but I’m not so sure Att will be liking it right now either if he’s a football fan.🤣

I mean aside from it gets you away from said wife and kids for a few months a year, then maybe that is the case.

I mean i was lucky to get a bike one year.

Big problem for me here is that, if we have picked up on this, no doubt other fan bases will too if it gets publicity on TV. This could tarnish the reputation of our fans for a long time.

The best analogy I can think of is if we had an owner of Afro-Caribbean descent, would they be OK waving voodoo dolls at him?

I mean if we had Arabic owners you wouldn't be parading a pigs head

Though if it was Sean Bean can I make an exception

    Just a thought.
Would DC employ Colin if he sacked Xisco, just to metaphorically stick the v’s up to his detractors?

There is that chance, but cross referencing to my posts on the attention seekers thread, I am not convinced he would employ a character larger than his own, one that would own the room shall we say

I genuinely think he liked Moore but not once Moore got the media attention and plaudits not him.

I think that’s a fair post MK. Although they’re looking at things about his culture, I think it’s more about trying to get an understanding of what makes him tick, how and why he makes decisions, and on that basis what action will have the biggest impact.

I have said before, I deal with business owners day to day. Not to Chansiri's level of wealth. Understanding them and what makes them tick is part of my process. What makes them successful is those character traits, some good some bad

But I am not convinced any form of protest will change him, stubbornness is one of the key traits I see in this demographic

Why I ask what does he get out of owning us. Certainly not money, not respect locally.

There are varying opinions on here for sure, but I don't disagree with these sentiments.

You already have 3 weeks less prep time as a result of the play offs, the positivity and momentum ordinarily carries you for a few weeks and hopefully new signings have consolidated.

I mean if there was a list of things not to do on gaining promotion, then we have ticked most. And no hiding that Chansiri is responsible for all of that

  10. Excellent points by EBRA and Chelts there

I am critical of Chansiri's reign, but its hopefully about his decision making processes and the lack of planning. Never about his culture or nationality.

I am intrigued by his character, his personality, his background and how that impacts on said decision making, what he says in public, how he perceives the fan base.

The protestor groups are just a bit lacking in know how

    I disagree.

I well drilled squad with everyone knowing their role, with some pashun and leadership is often good enough for a top half finish or punt at play offs.

Demlot got to Prem with third division players, it's achievable

I will accept that the confidence is shot to pieces so the judgement is hard to make.

I will accept that playing out from the back exacerbates the mistake making.

But their basic skills seem lacking and fitness levels are not on a par with the division.

I have real doubts a new manager could change it enough.

So out of everyone available now could Connor Wickham improve us if a new manager came in, or is there enough in the squad to get to 19th place come April /May?

They are being badly coached, but I genuinely fail to see there is enough ability in the squad to achieve that. The spell 5 minutes after HT was potentially one of the most shambolic spells I have ever witnessed.
