  1. No why would it be rigged against Sheffield Wednesday. We are not that important.
  2. I can't disagree on Munoz for sure. Whether I think the squad for last year playing under Moore would have been better - I am not sure. The only attribute that would be better would be confidence levels but that as we know was easily damaged last season. None of the new signings have enhanced the squad. But for me as KM nails is that on every KPI for player performance we are below the level required for the Championship. Clearly the coaching by Munoz is dragging the collective performance down as well. We need to change manager but for any new manager it's a tough gig because the calibre of player we have. Can you polish a turd
  3. Will total agree on social media fuckwittery, I often consider this place is one of the last bastions of considered opinions and general respect for other views. Our main divergence of opinion is really whether Chansiri can turn our fortunes. If you haven't read it try and find the Alan Biggs article about Chansiri's tenure. It echoes my views on what has gone wrong. And sadly I don't see that Chansiri could or would be minded to change his approach. He is controlling, but so are many business owners, he is entitled, seen that way too much from 2nd or 3rd generations from wealthy families, he listens only to the advice he wants to hear. The Club will never permanently move forward under his tenure. It could be one step forward but 3 steps back And whilst you list what we have achieved in those 8 years and yes they are an improvement on the mess we had before, I simply do not see there is a plan. And that is my ultimate disappointment with his era. I thought he grasped what was needed for the Club. I almost lament the play offs that first season because it gave the impression you could simply throw money and guarantee success. In many ways we did that last season but it was built on quicksand. The contrast with Sunderland and Ipswich is stark
  4. We said that 25 years ago. The day I become immune to us being shit will be the day I stop. But there is only one way to stop this current rot. Clearly there is no guarantee that any next owner(s) would stop it, it could get worse. Until we adopt some semblance of a sustainable plan then this cycle of doom with the odd glimmer of hope is going to continue. And Chansiri is carrying that torch now, but everyone else failed in the 20 years proceeding. We all pass the burden to our kids, with hope exceeding expectations.
  5. I respect your opinions and you have defended him, but I genuinely fail to grasp why you consider Chansiri continuing to be our owner will lead to a good outcome. The fact he has thrown his toys out the pram should be ample evidence of this. I totally get without his money we are fucked. I totally get that the protest groups need to justify their actions by bringing a new investor to the table But I simply think it is equally delusional to look back over the 8 years plus of his ownership and conclude we are in a better place on the pitch despite the millions wasted. I refuse to use the word invest. To fear for the future without him I totally understand. But I fear for our future with him. Sometimes, like Sunderland did, more prominent like Luton did, we need to take a hit on the chin now.
  6. Whilst we have been piss poor until last night I had never really questioned the effort levels. But that was lacking last night. A combination of on and off the pitch matters. Munoz simply has no clue on how to coach them. But to any Chansiri empathisers, that statement 12 hours pre kick off, basically threatening their livelihood, please explain how that did not impact. The chalk and cheese compared to that Sunderland squad was palpable. Is there budget substantially in excess of ours. We may be reliant on Chansiri's money but he has fuck all clue how to create a football team. It is interesting and perhaps the one hope we have. It wasn't that long ago that Sunderland were a car crash in terms of off the field operations. It took time but they now look in a good place. This is the reason Chansiri needs to stepaside. He will never, despite his money, have the required abilities of management and delegation to improve out fortunes. Even if we did, we would be sat waiting for it to implode
  7. For the defenders of the Chansiri reign - tonight is another answer as to why folk want him gone.
  8. The nearest I can give an analogy to is when my lads played youth football and ended up playing a Div 1 side in the Cup The gap between the playing ability was so wide, it was a pointless exercise to play the game. I mean after a decent 3 minutes, that fucking keeper plays a stupid ball and that is that.
  9. Well they interviewed 5 fans and 2 want him out 2 on the fence and one flag bearer Says everything probably
  10. I genuinely don't know, I accept most simply will want to focus on the game. I recall from years ago how few actually grasped how perilous the Court situation was.
  11. I am genuinely not sure who is the majority or minority in this. I accept we have many fans who won't have a fucking clue either way as well.
  12. Anyway to please some apparently Bannan out injured until mid October, though given that is from Kivo Owl on twitter that might be less well received
  13. Not saying this is genuine, but The Star in the piece Alex Miller wrote at lunchtime it suggests they have seen certain emails between Chansiri and individual supporters that are not written in a good manner. This is very different to making stuff up, not sure why you would unless you are jumping the bandwagon
  14. And folk might not like this but the suggestion of violence against those who are protesting or concerned about Chansiri's running the Club is as disdainful as the racist and insulting language against the owner.
  15. I genuinely don't know what to say about today. I am definitely fence sitting on this. On one side in here - almost unilaterally in the social media fan base any way - there is reasonable support for Chansiri and disdain for the protestors On Stalk it is 95% anti Chansiri easily All I know is the Club is a fucking mess in every direction you consider. Some of the language used by the anti Chansiri mob is disgraceful Equally I find some of the language aimed at the fan base by Chansiri down right insulting as well. Neither side comes out looking like they have a clue I will never lose my love for Sheffield Wednesday but fuck me it is getting hard to like where we are now
  16. I think we should ask the pissed up Mackems to act as peacemakers between the Wednesday fans
  17. If I read that statement it alludes to that "go about it the right way". I think a few of us on here know what that entails. Ok I am a few tens of millions short of being an investor and can't say I know anyone stupid enough to invest in football either. It really needs some local business guys to take up the mantle, not the 10 Bob millionaire types either. I am not going to hide behind the fact I have been critical. There is actually a decent article from Alan Biggs that I was reading just before this statement landed. It certainly echoes my views on DC needs to delegate and have good advisors around him. That horse has bolted and I have said a few times on here understanding DC is vital, that he wouldn't be bullied, this statement really does not surprise me. Very typical of people who run their own business, in my world managing them is half the job in doing the accounts
  18. There seems to be conjecture as to what that means, but its a very strong statement No club in the Championship is really sustainable - some even with parachute payments
  19. Crikey there is a slightly more toxic view of events on Stalk
  20. Anyway Sky have done well in now selecting this game. Crash helmet is ready
  21. I appreciate there will be a variety of views on this. Parts I agree with 1) there should never be personal insults 2) those attacking or going to his family are sad ***** 3) said in recent comments on here, you will never force him out. Any demands to leave have to be with here is the investor The other side is also comes across as a bit entitled and withdrawing funding is the "it's my ball" tantrum when you started losing as a kid And if I was a player or employee of the Club that threat to pull funding is going to go down like a lead balloon Sadly I think this statement will pour petrol not dowse with water the flames
