For offering his missis a romantic weekend on the South Coast, without mentioning too much that the weekend coincided with a trip to watch the Wednesday.

I did something similar in the late 90s IIRC, we played Blackpool in pre season....  I went to the game, so did the wife, and we're still married.

Mrs Speakup couldn't understand why we were having to travel all the way down to Gatwick to catch a holiday flight to Italy a few years back until I mentioned we were playing at Brighton the day after we got back and it was a new ground
