"Shuttleworth is a pathetic character, essentially decent and benevolent, but with a painful lack of self-awareness. The unfortunate gap between his actual musical talent and his steadfast belief in the possibility of his eventual pop super-stardom is the main source of the character's tragi-comedy" Quote
madowl Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Anyone remember Artery? They were really good in their time. Simon Hinkler in particular went on to mentor Jarvis Cocker, play with and produce early Pulp offerings and then have massive success with The Mission. Still touring with The Mission now worldwide. His brother David was also a Pulp member and older brother Andrew was lead singer in local group DO$CH. Quote
