Bess hits a 4 to seal victory & finishes on 41no, a superb knock by Masood 95no enables Yorkshire to beat Derbyshire by 3 wickets in the Country Championship. Yorkshire sit in 6th position on 45 points after 6 games in the 2nd Division. In their 20 overs they made 180/6 Yorkshire required 181 runs to win & get back on track. Sadly the batting was massively lacking again as they were skittled out for a lowly 102 - Malan the highest scorer with 34. Northamptonshire won by 78 runs. After 2 successive defeats, Yorkshire drop from 2nd to 5th. Hopefully they can dust themselves down & put in a better performance on Thursday for the visit of Warwickshire who are currently top of the table. A must win game for me, we are currently 50 points behind top of the table Durham.
