  1. A clean sheet for our fist point v West Brom. The defensive changes were after the 70 minute cut off point, so it’s 0.2 for Beadle, Palmer, Iorfa and Bernard, and 0.1 for Valentin and Johnson.

Musaba turned it into three points.

In Meaningful Goals it’s two points for Musaba, and half a point for Ugbo.

It's not exactly going to hurt them, is it?

Prior to the deduction, they were 5 points behind the play-off places with only 3 matches left and a woeful goal difference.

    No chance of relegation either.

They were only three points off the play offs before the deduction.

7th place is the last play off spot in that division

  8. Yellows for Vaulks and Bannan v Norwich keep it tight at the top.

Ihiekwe’s first Wednesday goal gets him half a point in Meaningful Goals as it brought us within a goal of the opposition. Smith gets one for equalising.

  10. A clean sheet for our first point at QPR. The left back change came after the cut off point, so it’s 0.2 for Beadle, Iorfa, Famewo, Diaby, and Ihiekwe.

Gassama added the other two points.

Gassama also gets two points in Meaningful Goals, and Musaba half a point for making it 2-0.

  12. Always though they were both in the Nazi party, and Rudolph’s Wikipedia entry states he was.

“With the rise of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s, both Dassler brothers joined the Nazi Party, with Rudolf reputed as being the more ardent Nazi.[5]

During the war, a growing rift between the pair reached a breaking point after an Allied bomb attack in 1943 when Adi and his wife climbed into a bomb shelter that Rudolf and his family were already in: "The dirty bastards are back again," Adi said, apparently referring to the Allied war planes, but Rudolf was convinced his brother meant him and his family.[6] Rudolf, upon his capture by American troops, was suspected of being a member of the SS, information Rudolf assumed was allegedly supplied by Adolf.”

  13. Well the one thing we can’t complain about today’s defeat at Middlesbrough is the lack of Alan Harper Award efforts.

Ihiekwe led the way with three points for the own goal. Bannan moves a point clear at the top with his two points for conceding the penalty. Vaulks, Beadle, Famewo and Iorfa completed the scoring with yellow cards.

  16. Five goals in six games since the last update. Three for Ugbo, and one each for Gassama and Cadamarteri.

Ugbo and Musaba lead the goal scoring chart with six each. With Ugbo joining in January his adjusted projection puts him on course to finish on nine. Musaba is due one more.

And the bad news is that the only others expected to add to their tally are Cadamarteri and Windass with one more each.

  17. A 6-0 defeat will often bring a little comfort with a lid of AH points with an own goal or a penalty in the mix. Not today though as there were just two yellow cards from the visit to Portman Road.

They went to Ihiekwe and Valks, with the latter meaning we now have a three way tie at the top of the table.

No of course it wasn't correct. We had a loan with recall deal and full wages offer. It made absolutely no sense. He'd had stayed fit and saved us money for 5 months. Lets not try and portray it as a good idea based on the fact the owner had to sack his owner appointment after 10 games

As others have said there is no such thing as a loan deal with a recall clause outside of the transfer windows.

Trying to crowbar Chansiri errors in wherever you can does your cause no good; and this “freezing out of players” one is a prime example imo. It has a real feel of he’d have been criticised whichever way it went. Johnson leaves and does great for his new club (especially if it was a club in the same division) and Chansiri’s a fool for allowing it; Johnson doesn’t leave and Chansiri’s a fool for not letting him leave.

And I’d  be interested to know how you know we had a full wages loan deal on the table for him; who it was from; and then whether @Tylluan had heard anything about it.

Marv wasn't being included in the 25 man squad and we had a loan offer for 100% of his wages

And since coming back into the side has contributed important goals, assists and been part of clean sheet winning defences.

So, the decision to not ship him out. Correct or not?
