  1. Season ticket for Wakefield Trinity, which tides me over until the football season starts. Totally different scenario to watching Wednesday, as they’re top of the league, won 7 league games from 7 and are favourites to get promotion back into the Super League at the first attempt - which they should be given that they are the only full-time professional outfit in the league.

Holiday for a week in early June and arrive back just in time for the Euros!

Daughter’s final exam at university on Monday, so a trip up to Durham for her graduation in July. Her accommodation is booked until the end of August and as she’s having a ball in Durham she’s possibly staying on until then, so no doubt we’ll be having the odd weekend away in Durham to visit her as well.

Already missing no SWFC matches though - nearly every game was a cup final this season and had something riding on it, so to go from that to absolutely nothing is a bit like going cold turkey, even if it is better for the old ticker and blood pressure!

I worked with someone who went to Chesterfield Station and bought approx 200 platform tickets. They were all numbered in a sequence that corresponded with English Electric class 40 diesel locomotive numbers of which he was an enthusiast.

I’d have only needed to collect 22 of them to correspond with my favourite class of diesel locomotive. Sure you can work out from that number which class it was.

Im a bit too young to have seen a BR Standard class 4MT or any other locomotive of the kettle variety in BR service, but my dad often reminisces about them.

    Got a minute in.

    Dingle Nev

I didn’t get much further than that.

Bannan: “on abart 60 grand a week”.

Stupid, thick, obsessed, six fingered, inbred, sister shagging Dingle twat!

Enjoy League 1 (again) next season with your real rivals (ToyTown)!

I am not going to indulge this nonsense any further after this comment other than to say.

I am not involved in the 1867 group. I was involved at the very start, long before any protests were announced or carried out.

The abuse I’ve received on here and other places is plain fucking nasty, and like Tee said, reeks of double standards and hypocrisy all over.

    You’ve not helped yourself Geoff.

Speaking personally you’ve private messaged me and commented on my Facebook posts in what I can only assume is an attempt to get a rise out of me.

Whilst I’ve not taken you on or risen to it, you can’t play the victim card if others choose to give it back!

DR post game pitchside interview with Staton I think. Last minute of the interview Staton asks if he's up for the challenge next season. He puts the ball firmly in the clubs court although diplomatically, he now needs backing and I hope he gets it. Come on DC, hands down the back of that sofa and pop along and see the family if needs be.

I heard it and that last minute made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Basically says he has plans but you can’t do anything with plans on their own.

Sounded very much like ‘back me or lose me’ statement to me.

Didn’t really want to make a post like this as I want to celebrate today, but given that comments relating to the last minute of the interview are already circulating (and as I type the interview is playing on P&G) there’s nothing to gain by keeping quiet about it now.

    Over to you DC now!
