i have a couple of mates who are Geologists ( now retired ) They think in different time scales to us mere mortals . To them climate change is inevitable and has been going on for millions of years . They analyse much more data over a much longer time frame than the Climate change industry ( yes it has become an industry ) who have less than 200 years of records to analyse
No matter what we do it to try and prevent Climate Change it is not going to make any difference

Going back to the 1960's fans have regularily slagged off the Star " journalists " . In the days when they used to do proper match reports ,the general quote was " must have been to a different mactch than the one I went to "

If Crann was any good he would not be working for The Star

it will all boil down to who is the cheapest option -nearly all the names bandied about will probably price themselves out of contention including Colin . Which unfortunately might leave us with Bullen which will not do us any favours

Darren Moore's magic hat must have lost some of it's potency when Xisco uses it to pick the team

brother in law is a Saints fan, reckons at least 5 of their current squad will be gone by the end of the window. Just the luck of the fixture draw we got them when we did

Thought he was worth £30m according to the unwashed.

He nearly fucked up that header v Bristol City though from 2 yards out.
Like KM says though he got the sack for finishing 13th in the Premier League. You would get a statue these days !
Announced on cup final day, though Alan Biggs tweeted (is that now X'd) about the impromptu leaving party with the local journos before it was officially announced
Francis had two problems the players and staff hated him found him too aloof . Secondly he had the same format as Big Ron . Tried and trusted pro's that will do you a job for a bout 3 years by which time the manager will have moved on . This left us with an ageing squad that needed replacing , however this was at time of the Premier League inception the consequenses being that a a mediocre £500, 000 player was now costing £2 million so we ended up with poorer replacements

Nothing yet on mainstream media . Did have a massive heart attack some years ago

BUT on the otherhand hardley fits in with our Environmental and Green Policy . It should be the otherway round if Wednesday are taking green issues seriously or just playing lip service . Me being a Luddite I allways prefer getiing tickets from the office

Our new shirt sponsor Wandisco seems to be in deep doggy doo . Currently under investigation by the US Regulators for massively overstating revenues , CEO Dave Richards has resigned ( for the record he is no relation to Sir Dave Richards the serial failure) and are now looking at staff cuts of about one third . They were our shirt sponsor in 2013 and our former CEO Nick Parker worked for them after leaving Wednesday . He jumped ship as soon as they were floated ,I hope we were paid in advance
We seem to have a history of dodgy shirt sponsors , Remember the MHS Group whose founder Malcolm H Stockdale wanted to buy Wednesday before going bust , then there was Milan's mate from Azerbaijan

Geoff Shreeves is leaving Sky now too apparently.
Good riddance, straight out of the school of the Bleedin obvious -same old questions every time .
best laugh with him was Man City away at Newcastle , so Shreeves says to Pep " Well Pep your first time at St James's Park ,how does it feel to be playing at such an historic ground " Not what Pep was expecting you could see his face going WTF

The Auditors resigned in Aug 2022 hardly recent . The partner retiring does not hold water for resigning as auditors

Dig at Carlton Palmer? He's been shooting his mouth off on TalkSport, GB News, and anywhere else that will have him about he's talked to Moore and knows the 'truth'.
He really does give idiots a bad name

Wednesday Auditors BHP Resigned in Aug 22 citing the reason " The person with all the expertise in doing the Audit has now retired and they have no one else . I find this a bit bizarre as they are part of a nationwide group and are ranked 37th in the country . Though having had dealings with them I wouldn't put them at 237

Strange really, Palmer, Hirst and Waddle are probably my 3 favourite players in my time watching but as people I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
met all three -only one i have any time for is Waddle comes across as genuine and will allways engage . Carlton is desperatly trying to stay relevant as everything he touches he scews up

Prutton just been talking about us on Sky.
Surprised at Moore going, thought the club would move forward with balance, but a choice has been made. He says it doesn't help that Moore is a good man, it's a decision made by the owner to make sure the Championship season is a success. Maybe the decision is about not being happy with consolidation, and are looking forward for promotion.
Didn't Prutton say at the start of the season Moore wasn't a particularily good coach and he didn't rate him ?
