    Wednesday will win on Saturday and Huddersfield and Birmingham will draw. I don't care what happens after that and it'll be a happy stress-free trip to the Stadium of Light for the lads making the trip.

    I'm coming to this one, albeit in the away fans' end (soz), with my nipper and my great grandson. The young 'un is a big Norwich fan and as he predicted the correct score at Carrow Road I'm counting on the mighty owls to wipe the smile of his face.

    Although I'd never heard of this guy before we took him on, I thought he'd be decent as his record at Watford wasn't too bad and he seemed to have been a little hard done by to get the sack there. However he does seem totally clueless but what annoys me even more is that when any valid point is put to him in interviews he just shrugs as if to say "So what? I'll still get paid at the end of the month." Not for much longer though I hope.

    I know we only saw him for 20 minutes but Fletcher didn't strike me as giving us the pace we need up front.

    I remember that Blackpool game although I was only six and I didn't go but I remember crying all the way home on the tram from my gran's. Didn't see my first game for two years after that, just after the war and that was a charity match of some sort I think. The only thing I remember about it was that Derek Goodfellow was in goal. I wonder if Ken and I ever stood next to each other on the wall behind the Kop goal. RIP Ken.
