    Could be problems in near future if they don't go up. I think they will though with Ipswich missing out.

    I was fully expecting Birmingham to get at least a point against Cardiff to put us back to 2nd bottom. Them losing with added bonus of Stoke and Blackburn also losing are 3 excellent results for us. After Blackburn won 5-1 at Sunderland I expected them to pull clear.

    Only a few left in bottom tier now, upper tier should be going on sale tomorrow.

    Disastrous start not helped by faffing about with it at the back in very blustery conditions. Game could have been over by half time had Norwich took their chances. Change of personal and tactics at half time turned things around, we looked far better even though Norwich still looked a threat at times. All the substitutes did well, especially Patterson and Valentin.

    Same last week about our season ticket sales, headline was 13,000 season tickets sold, 5,000 down on this season. Only when you clicked on it does it say it is comparing it to sales at start of this season and the 13,000 is sales for middle of last month anyway. Obviously if we get relegated numbers sold will be down but if we stay up I don't think it will be far off the 18,000.

    Still Cock-a-hoop after yesterday's win. Before game I was fearing that the great escape was going to be over but the players turned up along with us fans and put a shift in. On to the next two games now where a return of 4 points would be terrific. 6 would be amazing whilst anything less than 3 would be a disaster.

    3-1 Pool, lots of pashun from blunts but overall Liverpool better side, 82% possession, 28 shots to 5 and 12-1 on corners tells a story.

    Stunning goals tonight, Haaland and De Bruyne both on bench and City still look brilliant.

    Good result for Forest tonight beating Fulham 3-1. Puts them on 25 points, 3 clear of Luton who play Arsenal away tomorrow. Blunts 10 points behind Forest with a far worst goal difference, though they have 2 games in hand starting against Liverpool on Thursday.

    I agree with this, abysmal performance, made an average championship side look like Real Madrid, we were chasing shadows most of second half and weren't much better in first. Even after heavy defeat at Ipswich I was still optimistic about staying up, we haven't a prayer on that performance.

    I thought that they were going to win one their, especially when it came up 4-1 on sky sports news. They must be distraught. 🤣

    Recalling Hendrick to squad tells me we might not see this Diaby again this season. Poveda is a big miss made worse when Bannan is also missing.

    He gave away penalty to make it 2-3, game turned on its head from that point. Newcastle were struggling with a number of players going off injured and they had to leave players on pitch who were struggling with injuries. A crazy game to watch.

    We're in bottom 3 on goal difference, if you think we've got too much to do now I wonder what your thoughts were when we were 10 points and more adrift around last Christmas. If someone had said to me before Christmas that we would be in this position come Easter I would have thought they were bonkers. It won't be easy but I think safety is still achievable despite today's result.
