You work with Jordan Henderson 's dad...😂

There were a few different jeckell versions around for some time.

I read somewhere the other day that the Dutch team has no Ajax players in the squad whereas England did.

Can't be arsed to fact check.

  2. I got lost at Wednesday being Liquidated.

Why and when would that happen?

Chansiri isn't going to lose his money any more than a supporter who buys his season ticket - cash, card or PayPal could.

If HMRC, for example take, Wednesday to court and Chansiri ain't got the cash available to pay the debt, he simply mortgages the ground, or sells it. Oh and by Christ, the real fun and games will start at 1867

In terms of the name across the stand - i'm aware that early on Chansiri used that to circumvent the FFP rules by effectively paying himself for sponsorship but is that still being done? He didn't need to plaster his name across seats, there were various other options, he could have had his name on the scoreboard, on tickets or simply just called the stand the DC north stand etc without the ego boost. In addition, whilst it was always ok to use that loop hole, it didn't mean that he had to effectively ignore all other sponsorship deals in addition. The money thrown away was absurd.

Oh, can you imagine the noise if it was called the Chansiri North Stand?

see, this is how you can put the same statement out but in a coherent and professional manner and not come across as the Judean People's Front.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our volunteers who dedicated their time to distribute flyers during our recent protest. We sincerely appreciate the support from fans who acknowledged our efforts, as well as those who respectfully declined our flyers. Your involvement underscores the shared belief in the urgent need for change within our beloved club.

While we anticipated that our protest might not garner the same level of attention as previous ones due to recent results, we were heartened to witness widespread agreement on the necessity for change. Regrettably, despite our consistent calls for civil and respectful discourse, it is disappointing that some fellow Wednesdayites did not afford us the same respect. We knew that as a protest group on such a divisive issue, criticism would be inevitable. However, threats of violence, acts of aggression, and derogatory remarks directed towards our members are antithetical to the values of mutual respect and camaraderie that we hold dear.

Our commitment to Sheffield Wednesday stems from a profound love for the club and a firm belief in its untapped potential. Contrary to misconceptions, our objective is not to vilify Mr. Chansiri; rather, it is born out of a sincere desire to see the club thrive. Over the past nine years, it has become increasingly evident that the current leadership either lacks the necessary resources to effect meaningful change or is unwilling to do so.

While we commend the efforts of Danny Rohl and the coaching staff, the uncertainty surrounding the club's financial situation remains a cause for concern. Vital questions regarding future funding, financial stability, and supporter concerns regarding pricing and payment options remain unanswered. Our inquiries are not motivated by personal gain or ulterior motives but by a genuine concern for the long-term well-being of Sheffield Wednesday.

We wish to clarify that we are not a consortium seeking to purchase the club. We are a diverse group of fans united by a common goal: to respectfully urge Mr. Chansiri to consider placing the club for sale. His acknowledgment of past interest in the club reinforces our belief that a change in ownership is both viable and necessary.

We remain committed to peaceful protest as a means of advocating for change. Our message to Mr. Chansiri is clear: enough is enough. We implore him to prioritize the best interests of Sheffield Wednesday and its loyal supporters by initiating the process of placing the club up for sale.

Thank you for your continued support and solidarity

It's irrelevant if I believe this but it's certainly a better proposition than the passive, aggressive statement that was put out.

Bugger all to do with grammar police, it's to do with marketing and PR.  You know, PR you say DC needs help with.
