  1. I was not talking about re-naming the Martin Haigh Suite. I am just trying to get a new forum next to the Martin Haigh Suite, where we can post all the topics, which annoy Reesh. Just a new area, where I can post cup games and videos and all the other things without being an nuisance .
  2. I didn't talk about other stuff forum. I would please like to have a sub-forum in the Sheffield Wednesday Section, where we can talk about Sheffield Wednesday related topics, which annoy you. We could call it " The Wednesday Suite" and just use it for all the topics, which you find irritating.
  3. Could we maybe have a new forum somewhere here on Owlsonline, where we discuss the topics, you are not interested in?
  4. I am still looking forward to the game and hope to get more people excited about it. Let's have a look how good Mighten is. It's all on ifollow tonight!

  6. Great question. Nearly forgot that the cup had all those dodgy rules Rules - EFL Guess my team is ok under those rules. We need four "Qualifying outfield players" My team would be fine : Pato (7.4.3) Ihiekwe (7.4.1) James J. Hunt (7.4.4) Adeniran (7.4.4) Vaulks (7.4.3) A. Hunt Brown Mighten (7.4.5) Wilks (7.4.4) 7.4.3. List: 7.3 Each EFL Club shall play its Full Available Strength in and during all Matches. ‘Full Available Strength’ means the EFL Club must include at least four Qualifying Players in the ten outfield Players named in the starting eleven on the Team Sheet. 7.4 Qualifying Player means any Player who: 7.4.1 had started the immediately preceding First Team Fixture (as defined below); 7.4.2 subsequently starts the immediately following First Team Fixture; 7.4.3 is in the list of ten Players at the Club with the highest number of starting appearances in First Team Fixtures in the same Season; 7.4.4 has made forty or more starting appearances in First Team Fixtures or international equivalents (and not limited to the same Club or Season); or 7.4.5 is on standard loan from a Premier League Club or any EFL Club operating a Category One Academy. 7.5 First Team Fixture means the League Competition, Premier League, EFL Cup or FA Challenge Cup (but shall, in the context of Rules 7.4.3 and 7.4.4 only, also include this Competition).
  7. I don't see a Hirst deal, but Dean might really be an option. We are already short in the defensive area and he still seems to be available. Maybe there is a deal to be done.
  8. I'd go with this lineup: Dawson Pato Ihiekwe James J. Hunt Adeniran Vaulks A. Hunt Brown Mighten Wilks I don't like Pato upfront anyway
  9. Yes, I really was hoping for that. However, we do have a bigger squad and all our players are eager to show their abilities. The cup games are the perfect opportunity for that.
  10. It's not just you. I also had hoped that we would have scored some goals in the second half. IMO we should have brought on three or four fresh players at halftime, who are hungry to put their name on the scoresheet. Maybe it was better this way to avoid unnecessary injuries, but I was still disappointed. DM might have learnt from the Portsmouth game last season, when Bannan made his ridiculous run although we already had won the game. The knock he took from that overexcited run might have contributed to our poor performance in the playoffs.
  11. I absolutely get it. Many people claim that they don't want to be in that competition - not because they don't want to win, but because they are afraid of the embarrassment of losing. Some people believe that we are to important as a massive club to participate in the pizza cup. I still enjoy it. It's a great opportunity to give our fringe players a game and for me it's always great, if we win anything. And a day out at Wembley is always nice - especially as I might be able to get tickets and travel there.
  12. Might be good for your step count, but I am sure it is even more damanging for your reputation than my instagram-embarrasment.
  13. I follow both Chansiri kids to get first hand Infos

  15. He stays because he right now loves playing for us. Last season I was sure that he would be happy to leave, but he won't leave right now. He's scoring goals, has persuaded Wilks to join us, gets on well with the gaffer and looks forward to promotion... and last but not least, he also earns very good money here. Why should he leave??
  16. He doesn't turn down football in a higher division - he's just postponing it for a season as we'll be in the Championship next year as well. I am aware that some people actually believe that money is the only motivation, but trust me.. it isn't. There are many people, who try to make sure that their work-live balance is right.
  17. Therefore I'm sure that Windass is not leaving. He's been looking forward to have Wilks in the team.
  18. Lee joined us today with zero points. The future looks good for you!
  19. I fear I really do deserve this embarrassement Note to myself: Don't fall for fake news; do you research before posting and use the right thread!
  20. FAKE NEWS!!!! Sorry.. I fell for it and created the thread too early. Mods, please delete!!!
