    Burnley blew it. If you can’t get three points from a very winnable game at home then you deserve to go down. Brentford never showed up but fair play Leeds deserved to win and did what they needed to.

    I believe Moore deserves to start next season. He can now sign players permanently and has shown he can attract decent quality. Luongo will go, but this might give a chance for dele bashiru to be given a proper run. A midfield of him, Bannan and Byers doesnt seem to bad with Adeniran to come back in.

    Worked wonders at Burnley to keep them up this length at time. Losing their number one striker in Chris Wood sealed relegation.

    I agree. The atmosphere at Wembley comes across as flat and sterile. What’s with the constant paper aeroplanes. I can’t think of many other national teams outside the Uk who are based in one City. I believe Germany, Spain and Italy all tour around their country

    In recent years we have had some very dodgy keepers turn out for us because we were unprepared and scrambling around at last minute. Brad Jones, Chris Adamson (who I seem to recall was released before we re-signed him for reasons best known to ourselves), Ola Tidman, and O’Donell. At the end of this season we need to sign a reliable keeper who will still be here in 3 or so years. We can do it and have in a few instances with Lucas, Grant and kirkland

    Thanks, been bugging me for weeks. Remember being gutted when Bannister left. Guess he just never fit in to Wikinsons style of play.

    If we manage to get promoted both Fraser Forster and Alex McCarthy are out of contract at Southampton at end of season. I can’t see a future for Dawson or Wildsmith at Wednesday. Dawson seems to have done well at Exeter but too much water under bridge for him here. Wildsmith has had a few years to put his case but is no further forward now than he was under Carlos.

    Hi. I’m new to this site, a Sheffield Wednesday fan stranded in Leeds. Can anyone help me with a question. I was asked the other day what the first live Wednesday match was. It might be me mis-remembering but did we play an African National team in a friendly around the mid eighties.
