Rather than feed the ball from the back at a pace that either leaves players isolated, like Smith was a couple of times on Saturday, or allows teams to reset their defence. Bannan has his place in the squad when we play teams who put 11 men behind the ball and we need a locksmith. He came into his own against Morecambe as they sat and tried to contain us.
