He's 6'2" we aren't going to be a soft touch for crosses and set pieces, DM addressing that weakness

Apparently a centre half but can cover the left back role, so presumably plays naturally on that side which we totally missed last season.

Lets hope he can pass a ball without us hiding behind the sofa

He played a lot for Charlton last season so not sure they had a brilliant defensive record, but he is one part of that so never easy to judge based on that.

He did play a lot for Charlton last season.  On the other hand they were shite.  I do have a part time Charlton supporting mate.  I’ll ask his semi-arsed opinion.

Very difficult for a relatively inexperienced loanee to thrive in a struggling side, especially perhaps in a defence that gets scored against regularly.

The two stats that jumped at me were both positive: age only 23 and played a stack of games in our division last season.  Just what we need in a player. We'll make our own minds up when we see him play: NOT before, please. (Even though it's the Wednesday way.)  🙄

Certainly my mantra, in this case I don't know enough about him to do anything other. History tells you the apparent great player we have signed turns out shit, the apparent mundane signing or failed elsewhere chap is brilliant.
