I like this lad. 😁 On the subject of "keeping the ball out of our net" and us getting drawn into playing head tennis by the 'up and at 'em' merchants, it's not just the defence where it matters. Hopefully Smith will have a marked effect on that: either heading it to the likes of Gregory or holding it up himself. Remembering the playoff game at Sunderland, for the vast majority of that example they just automatically first timed it in the air and all we were able to do was just head it tamely back to them at best. At worst we ended up in a foot race towards our goal. Hopefully these lads will know plenty about sorting that out and even dishing it out ourselves occasionally to catch the opponents out when they make the assumptions that Wimbledon did.
