Sheffield Wednesday are looking to appoint a Skilled Grounds Person.

The suitable candidate will work effectively as part of the ground-staff team in ensuring that the stadium and training ground playing surfaces are maintained in a good and safe condition. 

 

This includes the preparation and maintenance of the stadium Desso Grassmaster pitch for all fixtures and events to a standard as required by the Football Association.

What we need is a structural engineer to take down that roof extension on the South so the pitch can breathe.

No point in employing an experienced Desso pitch maintainer when he's got nothing to work with down that side
