Got to see some European football

Went to watch Lech v Bodo Glimt last night in the playoffs for the Europa Conference League Knock Out.

Just about a sell out and the atmosphere was pretty special. Lech won 1-0 and are through to the knock out properly now. The English interest is from West Ham.

If you remember Barry Douglas (left back), he plays for them but is injured. And for the record, Windass, Byers and Bannan would walk into both teams.

I am pretty much guaranteed a ticket for the next round, so will keep going.

Yep. If Wednesday want to continue to use the band. Just follow what Lech do with them. They have a conductor with a megaphone who sets the scene and the tempo, if another part of the stand gets a song going, he just conducts the rest of the stand to join in.

Nah. They have different banners every week, that one pops out when they are in Europe. It’s more of a claim than a fact.

That said, when they play Legia - it gets very very tasty.

I saw something like that at Real Mallorca back in about 2000. The guy drove a club sponsored car onto the running track round the pitch, pulled out a pair of speakers and connected them to a PA system and just went for it. It was class tbh. Although copious amounts of ale, and being in the sun on a Sunday evening maybe added to the atmosphere that day too. LOL

That's what we don't necessarily realise woth the strength of English football, Wenzdi would do as well as most other countries' "premier league" teams
