HoylandOwl Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 That’s what Darren Moore said in an article by the Yorkshire Post. While we’re not the lowest scorers in the division by a long chalk, it’s fair comment. But we don’t play a way that always helps our strikers, as we’ve mentioned on here a few times. Quote

mkowlthesexynewversion Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 I don't think the strikers themselves are the problem it's the slow build up play, safety first option too much. Though a lack of pace is evident. Smith will score with crosses into the area - the goals v Mansfield were evidence of that Quote

Something else that's been said on here too, is that watching Wednesday is like watching England in the first 30 mins last night. Safe, not progressive, when we push we look good and dangerous. Quote
Andyben Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 There is a solution...well, two solutions Quote
Tylluan Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Taking Bannan away from his current role would allow us to play wider and more traditional, just like Rotherham did when Smith was in his element. Quote
Andyben Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Rotherham who got automatically promoted with Smith scoring 24 goals. Why would we do that... Quote
