  1. Don't know him but perhaps might have been introduced at an away game.

It's a shitter of a disease, the older you get sadly the more you know who battle it or more positively have survived it. Sadly a bit close to home as it got my Mum, the mother in law and the step father in law.

Powell seems another solid appointment if it comes off. If Chansiri has made this decision and he sits back from the footballing outbursts and concentrates on running the business side of things then he may just turn things around.

I just hope this doesn’t turn out to be a stepping stone for DR and he sees us as a long term project and gets it right.

But if he is a great success and bigger clubs come in for him then at least we will have turned a corner hopefully by then.

If a EPL side notices him then he will have been doing a good job. Sadly there is zero you can do in that scenario, exactly if you have a decent youngster.

In Rohl's case it would be the Bundesliga calling as well

Has there been any mention of a minimum number of Saturday 3pm kick offs? I know these generate overseas TV revenue but how much in comparison to moving a lot more games to Sunday 2pm when domestic and overseas revenue could be accumulated.

Not seen anything specific, but the presumption is those currently moved to that time slot due to European games on the Thursday will be made available

All the midweek games will. That does make sense just for the pain in travelling to them

  4. Opened the bidding for the next EPL rights that would start in 2025/26.

I guess surprisingly the 3pm blackout continues - though I suspect that is more a nod to the potential risk of an external football regulator than any empathy to the football pyramid.

Main change seems to be that all the Sunday 2pm games will be made available. No talk of regular Saturday or Sunday late evening games as yet

  5. So a 5 league games break coming up to interrupt the all important international fixtures

    Watford A

    Plymouth A

    Toytown H

    Bristol City A

    Milllllllllwalĺllllllll H

Be intriguing to see how we go.

My baseline position for us was say 18th at the start of the season. After seeing the slightly enhanced quality in the Championship that is probably revised to 20th

We have been performing at Baseline very negative under Xisco. No one has really argued we are currently in a false position in the table. Will Rohl at least get them organised and playing a system that works. Are our players better suited to the Championship than the evidence has suggested so far.

The issue is that we need to play at baseline ++ for a sustained period to get back in the pack

CEO is a definite promotion & stays on his CV forever…….. Nothing to see here!

Though I do suspect there was a glass ceiling of sorts at S6 - he certainly deserves credit for stabilising the ship which must be difficult to then see the captain head to choppy waters

Going back to the 1960's fans have regularily slagged off the Star " journalists " . In the days when they used to do proper match reports ,the general quote was " must have been to a different mactch than the one  I went to "

Such is life, it works both ways I have come on here happy with our performance and been shocked at the criticism. Ok it's generally more everyone else is happy and I am not.

Certainly times last season where the "win is a win" mantra was said but we rarely got the performance and it never really materialised at all.
